Bondi Boost shampoo

I recently purchased the Bondi Boost shampoo and on the Sephora website it claims Procapil and Redensyl are ingredients. However, when I received my bottle itโ€™s not listed in the ingredient list. Can anyone explain why that is? I saw two others comment the same thing.

Re: Bondi Boost shampoo

@mkog22  Redensylยฎ and Procapilยฎ are trade names owned by the companies that make those 2 ingredients. Product ingredient lists never (or should never) use trade names. Instead, ingredient lists should follow the INCI standard of listing ingredients. (INCI = International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) So, those 2 trade name ingredients are in the shampoo you mentioned. They're just not listed as their trade names.

Do a Google search for "[ingredient trade name] inci" to find out what to look for on ingredient lists. Example: "redensyl inci" tells me the INCI name of Redensyl is "Glycerin (and) Aqua (and) Sodium Metabisulfite (and) Larix Europaea Wood Extract (and) Glycine (and) Zinc Chloride (and) Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract." Redensyl is a complex of all those ingredients. If you see all those ingredients on the ingredient list of your shampoo, then the shampoo does contain Redensyl.
