US Secret Santa 2021

It’s time yet again! Just reusing the thread from last year cause why not? I am pleased to host the BT Secret Santa for the seventh (I mean that sounds right? Maybe not?) year!

The rules are pretty much the same as the last few years!  

Rules:

1. US only

2. Must have a minimum of 600 posts on BT and be an active poster within the past two months! This is a community activity so participants should be an active part of said community.

3. You must make an account on elfsfer! That’s where the wishlists will be and the drawing will take place! Make sure your wishlists are updated with proper SHADE information and your address. 

4. The spending minimum is $50. Meaning you can buy one item that is $50 and have it count or multiple items to total up to $50! And as per usual, you can spend over on your elf if you so choose!

5. If there is even the slightest possible hint that you're going to buy something on your wishlist, do not put it on your wish list!

6. Include a gift receipt if the item your buying includes shade selection!

- To Sign Up:  November 3nd..  Names will be drawn on November 4rd and elfster will send you an email with who you got. Shoot me a message and I'll send you the sign up link! I know its a little quick this year because I started late but I always try to do it with the sale.

- To Send Gift: December 11th. Gifts will need to be sent by or on this date.

Been working on some special BIC crafts for a few people on here including my Secret Santa.  I was going to make something else but @eshoe gave me a better idea.  Can't wait for you guys to see what it is.

@eshoe I was brainstorming for a couple of days before the name draw and was really set on one thing but then you mentioned another thing and I thought that idea was better.  What seemed simple actually took longer than I thought to make.

I'm alone for Christmas this year due to covid so I have a tree of my own for the first time. I was out shopping for my elf and myself yesterday and picked things out for the tree. It went up today. I know it's early but I need some cheer. Thought I would share. I'd love to see other people's holiday decorations too. I'll get a wreath for the door after Thanksgiving.

 The dog doesn't care at all, but she knocked an ornament off immediately wagging her tail ready for a walk.

That is perfect @sprocketta , it looks beautiful! I can see why you want to put it up early too. We are too even through the hubby’s protests, but I’m in agreement that it is a much needed decoration early this year. Remember you also have all of us too . 🤗😘 (love your doggo as always too. 😇🐶)

Your pup is so cute, and TALL! My dog is half corgi so she has short little legs. Your tree looks beautiful though! I'm getting my first tree after Thanksgiving and I'm soooo excited.

@sprocketta What a cool dog!  I've always admired greyhounds from afar.  I hope you have a good holiday!  Honestly, being trapped in a house with your family can be anxiety-inducing, so being able to take a year off sounds pretty good to me... although, we've all taken 2020 off so maybe it's not that fun anymore. 

I still have pumpkins up from Halloween, but I didn't carve them so I figure they'll hold me through Thanksgiving before I have to really get rid of them.  😄

@itscarin greyhounds are really wonderful dogs. Mine is very sweet and they are pretty laid-back couch potatoes. Thanks! I hope yours are great. I am very close with my family and moved away about a year ago. I never expected I wouldn't see them this year.

@quspork good for you! They said on the news this morning that many people are decorating early because they need some cheer. That's exactly why I did it. My tree got another little fawn on the other side underneath and my tree skirt arrives today.

Yes yes yes to extra cheer this year, @sprocketta . We're normally a wait until after Thanksgiving household, but we were driving to pick up some takeout over the weekend and noticed A TON of people already have their lights and trees up already. Bring on the holiday cheer I say! 🎄

@quspork I bet your three trees look gorgeous! I have to wait for my husband to get up in the attic and the anticipation is almost too much. So many houses around us have been decked out since the beginning of the month.

Ha, my husband had to leave on a work trip this week so I made him pull everything up from the basement before he left I could work on it this week, @eshoe 😄

Oooh I had a basement growing up, some parts were so scary @quspork. But essential in case of tornadoes. I just reminded my husband tonight and he is less than thrilled but I know he will be happier when everything is up.
