The What R U Watching Challenge ~ Post Your DVR or Streaming Queue!

So I know there are various threads where we post what we are viewing/streaming but I thought it might be interesting for 2018 to have a CHALLENGE to post the queue of your choice for what you are currently seeing on your screen. 🙂

Rules:

1. Rules... There are no stinking rules! (just kidding!)

2. No really.. basically take a screen or type a list of the queue of your choice. Acceptable lists could come from such places as your: home DVR, YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video, etc.

The more we share... the more you know! (oh wait... I'm not an NBC commercial!) But in all seriousness, my hope for this thread is by sharing these pics and/or lists we will learn about new shows, movies, series, etc. that some of us maybe never knew about before. The more we share, the more we learn. Sharing is caring!!!

Oh God!6AM and I'm watching The Crown on Netflix!I'm a crazy fan of Seinfeld so i watch it every day and there's The Good Doctor love that show.The Big Bang Theory which has like nine episodes to go😭

I love The Good Doctor! Loved the Korean drama, loving the American remake.

My tastes are a bit eccletic. I started streaming over 10 years ago and never looked back, however, I do miss being able to DVR through a live program to skip the commericals!    Right now I'm watching Victoria (on PBS), Call the Midwife and Death in Paradise (current seasons on the BBC).  I have in my queue the current season of Luther (again, BBC) and then Grantchester (ITV).   I just caught up on this season of Leah Remini - Scientology and the Aftermath.  I recently finished on Netflix -  Converstations with a Killer: the Ted Bundy Tapes, Agatha Christie and the Truth of Murder, Court Justice (Austrailian show which was a bit repetitive but I had a migraine and it was fairly quiet noise in the background), the Indian Detective (I found it a bit tedious - felt like they tried too hard so I fast fwd through much of it), and like several others mentioned - Abducted in Plain Sight and The Innocent Man.  I have several series in queue from Spain but the true crme stories keep jumping out on me.

@MCSSavvy, since you watch all different types of shows, two movies I highly recommend on Netflix is LION and the other one IS THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS. Get your tissue box for both!

Anyone have any thoughts on Velvet Buzzsaw? I'm in the middle of watching it right now.

@Anonymous what did you think of it? I had such high hopes for it...or at least wanted it to have an ending/explanation.  The pacing was too slow for me too.

@CakesCakes I liked the acting and some of the visual concepts were interesting, but the overall story was a bit lacking... I wondered if that was perhaps an intentional reflection of the shallow exploitative art scene being portrayed, but it may just have been poor writing.

@Anonymous, hm I was thinking of watching this because of Jake Gyllenhaal but the reviews are pretty mixed!

@pocketvenus he is fabulous in this! I think it is worth your time if you are at a bit of a loose end as to what to watch, but I wouldn't prioritise it over something you know you like.

@MCSSavvy the acting is really quite engaging, but the storyline is a bit simplistic... I think it is worth a watch if you like the actors but otherwise isn't particularly inspiring.

Also, The Punisher!

Waiting for so many new seasons on Netflix... 😛 They are really killing it with shows! I especially love the European ones. ( Black Mirror, Dark, Requiem, Deadwind, Dogs of Berlin, Perfume, The Forest, The Chalet, Tabula Rasa, Hotel Beau Séjour, The Frozen Dead, The Rain, Residue, Luther, Shetland, The Break, Case, The Protector... )

@MCSSavvy  No. I usually don't go for dramedies or comedies ( nothing is really funny anymore ). But I will check it out. 

I think I'm gonna start re-watching ( again! 😄 ) 'Allo 'Allo, Only Fools and Horses, Absolutely Fabulous, and Men Behaving Badly. 😄

I loved the 2nd season of Punisher! It was sooooo good! Frank Castle is a very intense man...and I love him! LOL

Loved both The Rain and Residue, although it seems unlikely that we'll see more of Residue since so much time has passed now.

@Anonymous  I know! I was wondering what happened?! They said there will be more. And then... nothing. I wish someone would say something. Yes. No. Anything. It was so good. So good! They say 3 episodes were not enough to build an audience... That may be true. But they totally got me! I am still thinking about it and wish it would come back. Maybe make it a movie? Something. Anything. I need more!
