The holidays are going to be strange this year. Many people, including myself, are unable to celebrate with family or simply the way they want to. On the news this morning they were discussing that many people are decorating early because they feel they need cheer. I put my tree up a couple days ago. I was thinking it would be nice to see other people's decorations and spread the cheer. I am NOT just talking about Christmas. I consider myself mostly Jewish but grew up celebrating many holidays and have a Christmas tree of my own. So no pressure in terms of holiday or religion. Whatever you want to share. I finished putting the details on my tree today.
Our outdoor lights. We used to have a line of mini lighted Christmas trees and plastic candy canes, but they stopped working. lol
@curlychiquita Thank you! I love driving up to the house in the dark and seeing these. I think we may leave them up extra long this year. I was happy to see alot of people in our area decorating their houses this year, more so than last year.
Love it @Ispend2much6 ! You’re so lucky to have a nice big yard! 🥰
@Sunnysmom Especially because I don't have to mow it. 😉
Haha so true @Ispend2much6 ! Somehow I can’t see you doing that! 😂😘
Here’s one of our trees in our yard this year. While I would love to see some snow, growing up a Midwest girl, I’m grateful for warm weather! 🌴🎄
Ooohhhh I love it @Sunnysmom so festive regardless of the climate 💜.
@Ispend2much6 these look so classic. Love the deer.
@Ispend2much6 - I love outdoor Christmas decorations like this! The trees in the background look great! 🎄☃️❄
@Titian06 Thanks! The only reason we keep the holly bushes is to put Christmas lights on them. 😂
I love the lights @Ispend2much6 I'm sorry to hear about your candy canes and the mini trees (our mini trees bit the dust last year). My husband is finally done putting the lights up this year so I need to get a picture of it. I used to have a doe and her fawn, but sadly it quit working. He won't go for this fantastic T Rex I found at Home Depot. Can't have any fun 🤣
Get the T-rex and dump the husband, @niki172 -- KIDDING!!! 😂 I'm very lucky that my husband indulges me with my own little corner of the yard for all my christmas lawn pigs. But the T-rex would definitely make a great addition.
@niki172 if I had a yard I would totally put that out!
