Topic #7: Allure reports that Amazon is launching it's first exclusive beauty product - a face sheet mask by OuiGLO.  Rumor has it that Amazon is wanting to take the beauty world by storm.  Thoughts?

Topic #5: Milk Makeup just launched Blur Matte Foundation.  This is a hot brand right now, and the Allure writer reports that it's oil-free, silicone-free and feels weightless even though it provides full coverage.  Thoughts?  Would you try it?

Topic #4 The July 2017 issue quoted 95 year old style icon Iris Apfel as saying, "Youth mania is insanity.  There is beauty in every age."  What mature women inspire you?

Normally I'd say Joan Rivers or Debbie Reynolds, but Iris has impressed me!

@greeneyedgirl107 Without a doubt Helen Mirren. I think she's more beautiful now than when she was younger. She's smart, talented, accomplished and seems to be happy with who she is. I mean, how cool is that?

Topic #3.  The July 2017 issues asked prominent people, "How do you define American beauty?"  What would you answer to this question?

I'd answer, "The perfect mix between individuality and uniformity."

Topic #2: The July 2017 issue reported that Maybelline's Great Lash is still the top selling mascara.  A tube is sold every six seconds.  Have you tried this mascara?  Thoughts?

I actually really love this mascara - it's the wands that I don't care for.  The rubberized brushes don't grab my lashes, and they degrade quickly.  The big brush version is unwieldy for me, and don't grab my lashes for enough definition. The "traditional" brush is too sparse for my liking.  It's a shame, especially considering the price!

First topic: what Allure Award Winners do you love?

I am currently in love with Paul Mitchell's Hot Off the Press flat iron spray, which won a beauty award last year.

I've been using Phytodefrisant for years, which I believe won a reader's choice award.
