I've been chatting with some fellow coffee addicts over in the Random Thoughts thread but I thought maybe I should make a separate thread.  So let's discuss anything/everything about coffee!

I just got the Peet's Sumatra blend in the k cups and I really like it!  Need to make a note to try their Major Dickinsons Blend since it's so popular.

What kind of milk steamer does everyone have?

I had a Keurig one my sister have me but it broke. I bought another brand for $35 at Walmart and it works just as well. If you haven't purchased one yet, it is soooo worth it!  The froth and steamed milk really elevates the coffee.

I don't have a milk steamer but I do have a frother.

It is and I got it pretty reasonably priced at Target (they had a cartwheel for it at the time)

Nice! I think I am going to retire my espresso maker for a little while and et one of these to use with my Verismo. It seems to have good reviews and is small which is a plus. My espresso machine is huge!

This one is perfect for me since I do have a Keurig and a stovetop espresso machine.  I didn't want another big appliance.

Guzelkiz I am trying to downsize my appliances too. I think I'm going to switch to this. I bought a Breville espresso maker for over $100 and have never been that happy with it. Years ago I had a Turkish coffee pot that was great! I used to make Turkish coffee on the stove and then I lost it when I moved before I got married...

I think it's a good thing to downsize.  I like not having my kitchen too cluttered.  Oh Anne, that's a tragedy that you lost that Turkish coffee pot!!

Two things: 1) Starbucks has 30% off mugs and things - not sure if this includes the Dot Collection (if someone knows plz let me know).  I went in the other day but the barista wasn't sure.  The sign they had said "stainless steel mugs and tumblers" so I assumed the Dot Collection is excluded?

2) Target has put some holiday items on clearance even the Coffeemate holiday creamer flavors like Peppermint and Pumpkin.

I was in my Starbucks Monday morning and the sign did say the dot collection was on sale. It was the Starbucks inside Safeway so I don't know if that is any different...

Hmm ok.  I will check mine today anyway.  I really should not be buying any new mugs since I have a ton and I bought only one mug from Starbucks this season.  But I'll still look 😛  I just can't help myself!

I know it's a bit late since it's already Thursday but Target has Coffeemate creamers in the 16 oz size on sale for 2/$3 (through this Saturday 12/19) and they also have a coupon up on coupons dot target dot com for $1 off of 3 bottles.  I didn't take advantage because I couldn't find the flavor I wanted.  Plus you can stick bottles of creamer in the freezer FYI 🙂

Yup!  I always do this when there is an LE flavor that I like or even when I find a really good deal and want to stock up.  It's awesome!  I just take the bottle out of the freezer and stick it in the fridge overnight and it's ready to use the next day.

This Friday (Dec 18) at Safeway they have select coffee brands on sale for $5 (both ground and K Cups).  See the ad for specific brands but I remember Lavazza and Green Mountain being on there.  I totally didn't read that it was Friday only and went in to get a box of the Lavazza today but it was regular price,  It's a good deal because the Lavazza, for example, is $9.99 at regular price.

Update: So I went to take advantage of this deal and picked up 2 boxes of Lavazza Perfetto expecting to pay $10 total.  When I was at the self checkout the catalina printed a coupon for $3 off 2 boxes!  So I applied it and the SA had to come punch in her code for approval but it was awesome!  I paid $7 total for 2 boxes so $3.50/box or 35 cents per cup 🙂
