Barbie Fever!

So Barbie and Barbie-pink seem to be everywhere these days, what with the new movie.  And Mattel's uphill battle to shape its perception.  And of course the permutations that happened after Barbie, like Bratz, Rainbow High and L.O.L. dolls.  I thought many of us would enjoy chatting about our Barbie experience, or just dolls in general.

@JoSometimes I'm hoping it'll get some more traction. 

I'm still irritated with Mattel for battling with Aqua over "Barbie Girl." I liked several of their songs.

@JoSometimes hard to believe!  I also like Dr. Jones which was probably a take off on Indiana Jones looking back.  I just looked up their other hits I had forgotten about.  Candyman and My oh my.  Gotta look into it more, I know there were others and now I'm curious about their other albums.

This takes me back @greeneyedgirl107! So many great songs from the 90’s. 80’s, 70’s, 60’s and even early 2000’s had good music too. Today’s music just doesn’t compare.
