12/24: Charitable causes that are dear to you?  Even small acts!  Donating to my local PBS station.

12/24: Charitable causes that are dear to you? Even small acts!  I give to the local foid bank every year.  I go to Costco and buy cases of things they will need i.e. soups, Mac & cheese, canned tuna,  etc.)  I also give to a friend's animal rescue and my Alma Mater.  And nothing makes me feel better then when I put toys in the local toy drive bin.

12/22: Best items for a holiday feast? Which ones do you steer clear of?  Beef Wellington and Yorkshire Pudding are a favorite.   And of course homemade cookies for dessert.

12/21: Best and worst designs for Christmas cards?   I haven't sent cards in decades.  I have no idea what's out there.

12/22: Best items for a holiday feast?  It's been close to 15 years since I was last invited to a holiday gathering.

Which ones do you steer clear of?  Anything containing animal or animal-derived ingredients.

12/19: Best (and worst) thing about snow?  I love snow!  It turns the world so beautiful and peaceful.   Makes your house so cozy when you watch it fall.  Plus there are so many fun things you can do when there is snow on the ground.

12/20: What's a winter holiday that you've never celebrated but would like to?  I am always looking for a reason to celebrate. 

12/21: Best and worst designs for Christmas cards?   I don't send cards any more so I dont really think about this.

Looking at the list that came up on Google, most I have not celebrated.  If a friend or work colleague invited me to an event, I would consider going.

Best:  How pretty it looks when falling and fresh. ☃️❄️

Worst:  Being/driving in it.  How ugly it is when it's been around for days or weeks and it's dirty and gross. 😝

I love Elf and Love Actually.   Holiday specials Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer , I always wanted the elephant with the spots, and the original 1/2 hour How the Grinch Stole Christmas

12/15: Post your own prompt. What is your favorite holiday gift you've ever gotten? For me, I don't know if I could pick just one, but some that come to mind are cozy slippers, a tin of one of my favorite teas, and the throw blanket with cats on it that my brother got me last year. 😺

My favorite gift is every year I get a puppy a friend gives me a puppy 's first christmas ornament with their name on it.  It never fails to make me cry @caitbird

12/14: Ideal candles to light this time of year? Preferred seasonal scents in general?  I don't burn candles mostly because of the cats.  I do like wax melts.  My newest fave is butterscotch and bourbon made by a local business.  Of course, pumpkin spice; any warm kitchen spice like nutmeg, clove, cinnamon; sugared or caramelized pecans...I'm getting hungry!
