10/26: Do we need Halloween-themed Hallmark and Lifetime movies? Do we not have those already? I don't know, I don't watch Hallmark or Lifetime movies 😂

10/27: How to incorporate Gothic style? bold black graphic eyeliner, dark moody nails, or a vampy lip!

10/28: What mystical creatures do you wish were real? Most of them, tbh! Maybe not the ones that eat people 🤣 but yes to unicorns, mermaids, dragons, phoenixes, pegasus (pegasi?), fairies, etc.

Trunk or Treat vs Trick or Treat?

As the number of Trunk or Treat events had increased in our area, the number of Trick or Treaters has decreased. Some years we get none at all. I miss seeing the kids and meeting new neighbors. So boo to Trunk or Treat! (Although I can understand it's probably the safer or more practical option in some places.)

10/22: Most frightening monsters, creatures or villains? I'm actually super arachnophobic, so I'm going to have to go with spiders...🕷🕸

10/23: Best shape candles to burn at Halloween?  And which are your favorite scents? Pumpkin shaped! I just finished burning my 3rd pumpkin shaped candle this season 😂 my mom thinks I am crazy. As for scents, there are so many great fall ones - pumpkin spice, apple cinnamon, Nest Pistachio & Wild Fig, Sweet Water Decor Hello Fall...DW Home had a limited edition Spooky Spiced Cocoa candle last year that I loved, but sadly they didn't bring it back this year 😭

Frankenstein, werewolf, witch or mummy? probably witch - I love that there are so many different kinds! I like werewolves too, though.

10/27: How to incorporate Gothic style?  Candles with lots of black , purple and deep reds .  I use the flameless candles.  Maybe some fairy lights is the same shades.  Also dark floral arrangements in vintages vases.

10/16: Favorite creepy Halloween things? I don't really like creepy things in general - but I do actually love bats and snakes, which I know most people think are creepy. 🦇🐍

10/17: Favorite scary story? Ooh, there are so many good ones - Dracula by Bram Stoker, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe, The Sandman by E.T.A. Hoffmann...

10/18: Best ways to incorporate orange and black into your makeup or fashion look? I don't usually wear orange, and if I do, it's usually a toned-down version of the color, like coral or peach. For black, I usually wear black mascara.

10/19: Favorite forgotten Halloween movies? I don't think I know any forgotten Halloween movies.

10/20: Best way to carry your candy around while trick-or-treating? One of those cute little pumpkin-shaped buckets! 🎃

Trick-or-treat or Trunk-or-Treat? I don't know, I always did trick-or-treating as a kid, but trunk-or-treat sounds like it could be fun, too (especially in places like where I live, where the houses are all spread quite far apart).

I don't know if I'll actually end up wearing lipstick on Halloween, but if I do, maybe #Hourglass Unlocked™ Satin Crème Lipstick Reef 320 - it's a coral pink shade that pulls kind of orange on me, but it's the kind of orange that I can (sort of) pull off 😅

I haven't done much shopping for Halloween items thus far, but I always notice that TJ Maxx and HomeGoods have tons of seasonal decor and other items when I stop in around this time of year (of course, by now, they've moved on to the Christmas decor already!)

Bonfire or fireplace? Fireplace (or woodstove, as the case may be)! But both can be nice.

I've missed a couple of days of posting to this thread, so I'll try to play catch-up a bit! 😅

10/5: What's your favorite way to pumpkin?  (Visiting a pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, eating pumpkin pie, etc.) probably eating or drinking anything pumpkin-flavored (pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, PSLs, etc.!), as well as burning pumpkin/pumpkin spice scented candles!

10/6: Favorite Halloween decor?  (Rustic, vintage, scary, etc.) Rustic, vintage, cute...definitely not scary!

10/7: What is one thing you'd like to change about the season? hmm...maybe make it less cold, lol 😂 I hate being cold! Also, I wish fall lasted longer in general, it always seems to fly by.

10/8: Best way to celebrate? I suppose this depends on the person, but for me, the best way to celebrate would probably be staying home and staying cozy with loved ones and tasty seasonal treats!

10/9: What are your ideal costumes for the following categories: traditional, sexy, scary, elaborate, misc? hmm, I don't know. When I was a kid, most of my costumes were animals that my mom made for me (cat, bunny, unicorn, etc.), and that was fun; nowadays, most of my costume ideas are fandom-inspired (Harry Potter or comic book characters, etc.).

10/10: Would you do cosplay? I don't know if I'm cut out for cosplay - that whole scene seems kind of intense, at least among those who are really serious about it.

Apple pie or pumpkin? ooh, tough choice! I love both (especially a la mode! 🤤), but for fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving, I think I have to go with pumpkin, since it seems more seasonal.

Hot cider or cold? hot! (but not so hot that it burns my tongue!)
