So in the holiday spirit and since last year I had a holiday countdown thread, I thought I would bring it back this year.  Come on over to share your beauty tips, stories, anything beauty that stood out for you during 2017 as we count down the days to a new year and celebrate many different holidays!

If you guys want... I'm hoping that on December 1st I can do the daily questions again. So each day a new question will be asked related to either the holidays or something beauty related for 2017. If you have a question you would like me to use please pm me. I’ll add it to the list and tag you when it’s posted.

I love Elf, The Santa Claus, Beauty and Beast Enchanted Christmas (of course), and ummm....so many more. Mostly the ones from the 90s.

Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas is one of my favorites! I only own a VHS copy of it, too, so I haven't seen it for the longest time.

I actually haven't seen it in years because I only have it on VHS but I don't have a player any more. Lol. It's on my Xmas list this year though so fingers crossed.

@Lazybeautybeast I don't have a VCR player anymore either! I have all these VHS tapes that I used to say that I would give to my kids one day, but that's not happening haha

I like Die Hard, but the husband loves Scrooged.  In an effort to fight the Christmas creep we also enjoy watching Halloween movies in December.

The other movies I watch have already been mentioned, but I also love White Christmas & A Charlie Brown Christmas (Did anyone else see that news article about the A Charlie Brown Christmas pop-up book being banned in Texas prisons?)

And I always have to watch The Nutcracker! Speaking of which, I read the other day that Disney is making a live-action adaptation of The Nutcracker & the Mouse King, called The Nutcracker & the Four Realms. It'll be released next year & has a great cast, can't wait to see it!

I just looked it up & it's because since it's a pop-up book, contraband could potentially be hidden in it. Where's Waldo? Santa Spectacular is also banned because there are stickers in it? But apparently, Guerrilla Warfare is allowed, though it contains information on how to make weapons.

@ohheyitscindyk  Oh yes Die Hard is a must! 😄  Oh and that reminds me I also love a movie call the nutcracker prince... it's a fun cartoon to watch.

I'm not a huge fan of Christmas movies so I'll watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, ELF, Edward Scissorhands and the Santa Clause movies. 🙂

I do have to admit that I had to google that, @veronika23. The only time when I really watched a lot of French movies or tv shows was when I was a kid and didn't know much english. I did watch a lot of Astérix, Lucky Luke and Tintin, but I don't think it was during that special event. 😛
