March Mini Madness: Sample Showdown to Set up for Spring Savings!

With the Spring Savings event just around the corner and samples from the holiday season gift bags overflowing, what better time to do a March Madness showdown: Beauty Edition!  

Foils and deluxe mini's seem to be taking over my stash and I'm hoping there are a few others out there who'd like to do a sample sized showdown to help figure out what they'd like add to their loves list for the spring sale.

Choose to do a bracket style showdown, a mini a day, or see how many foils you can use up in the month of March!

@itsfi I LOVE a good gentle mechanical exfoliation, I just worry that it'll be too much.  Like you, I try or I should try to have more of that type of exfoliation during the summer months.  I think I'll save my mini to try out in the warmer weather.

Ohhh @missjeanie, how do I put this?!! Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine Vanilla? It's love. 💖 It wants to move in. I'm not at all  adverse to that, but I have some other lip balms that may feel otherwise. 😂  Decisions, decisions ... It really is quite fabulous, and I spy a trio set - Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Trio too. Tagging @ather for any insight she may have to share - she's a fellow lip balm admirer and my recollection is that she has tried the SF balm (and loves them, too, if I'm remembering right).

@itsfi @ather I tried the blister pack you had here in November on a work trip and put the trio pack in my shopping cart ASAP after that.  It's the closest in texture that I've been able to find to the old Bite lip masks.  I have other lip balms that I'm trying to work through to reduce my collection in order to love these.  But I will say I have one in my purse at all times.  It's a great big ol' love from me!

@missjeanie  Omg yes!! I have a back up of my back up of my trio!

@ather If the number of lip balms I have going was under 100 I would have bought a back ups as well!  The SF balms have been some of the best I've tried in the last year or two.

@itsfi  Omg. Have you not tried the SF lip butter balm??? I have like all of them!! I got the trio at Christmas time and I was hoping they would make the brown sugar a permanent one but no 🥲 it’s the perfect colour for fall in my opinion!!! I am glad you love it. I adore it.

@itsfi  I agree. Leave no lip balm behind. I saw that Jouer Cosmetics Mini Essential Lip Enhancer Sweet Deluxe Trio  and I’ve been being good but it may not not stay away to long.

I tried out two samples today!

i was so so excited to finally try an oribe shampoo/conditioner…and I hate it. The shampoo left the weirdest residue in my hair, like sticky. And it doesn’t even feel soft or nice. Guess I dodged a price bullet. 

i like how the glossier rich priming moisturizer feels, but it has a funny smell. The embryolisse gives the same benefits with no smell. 

verdict: I would not buy either of these

@lmaster I bought the full size ones before and didn’t like it for my hair but love the moisture and control line.

@lmaster @Kim888 how disappointing about the Oribe!  I think I have that same foil duo in my own sample stash and I'd kinda been "saving" it because I always hear such rave reviews about Oribe.  Maybe I don't need to save them anymore, lol.
