March Mini Madness: Sample Showdown to Set up for Spring Savings!

With the Spring Savings event just around the corner and samples from the holiday season gift bags overflowing, what better time to do a March Madness showdown: Beauty Edition!  

Foils and deluxe mini's seem to be taking over my stash and I'm hoping there are a few others out there who'd like to do a sample sized showdown to help figure out what they'd like add to their loves list for the spring sale.

Choose to do a bracket style showdown, a mini a day, or see how many foils you can use up in the month of March!

Who's got a stash to test out?  What are the winners and the losers? What will make it into your spring savings basket and April Hauls?

I'm setting a personal goal to try out 31 samples of some sort this month.  Hoping to find/narrow down to 2 or 3 items I'd like to pick up during the Spring Savings event.  Will post a pic of my samples for this month tomorrow!

@missjeanie, you've inspired me to do the same. I'm not as convinced that I'll hit the mark as I am that you'll meet the target, but I'm going to give it a try.

Wow! Good job! How often do you try them out? And does it interfere with you skincare routine if trying a new product every couple of days? I recently received a lot of Kiehl's Since 1851 Jumbo Ultra Facial Hydrating Duo + Retinol variety samples and hoping not to break out from trying everything.

@nika8v I honestly don't have too many issues trying them all at once.  I have super dry skin, but not usually sensitive.  I hate to admit how many foils and deluxe samples I have... I'd guess it's easily 10 times the samples shown here.  I tried to choose ones that were Sephora sold for this round to see if there was anything that would peak my interest for the sale.

Products have been chosen and added to the washroom vanity to make sure I'm using as many as possible!

@missjeanie I'm interested in knowing how you like the amika The Kure Multi-Task Repair Treatment.  I like a lot of things from Amika but I haven't tried that one.

@CookieGirl1 I too enjoy a lot of Amika.  Their dry shampoo is my favourite and the Triple Rx mask was one I bought in bulk.  I have to say... I was confused by the amika The Kure Multi-Task Repair Treatment .  It had a consistency of water and I think maybe would be better in a spray bottle?  The glue bottle top made me think it was meant to go on my scalp, but instructions said to put on all my hair, the nozzle just wasn't conducive to this.  I honestly didn't find my hair any better after using this.  I used most of the tube in one shot and think that I'd go through a full size pretty quick.  I have another Amkia to use and I'm hoping it's better.  The Kure for me is a no go on purchase.  And a hair mask was specifically on my list of things I want to buy in the sale.

@CookieGirl1 I haven’t. They were on a short list for restocking S&C this sale and now I’m thinking maybe not? Have you tried them?

@missjeanie I had a foil packet set of them and I actually thought that I liked them but of course I only had enough of each to use a couple of times so I didn't really get to give them a very thorough test.  That's why I was asking you, lol.

Lol @CookieGirl1  I’m thinking I’ll end up passing based on the mask sample…. I say now… we’ll see if spring sale fever changes my mind.
