Beauty brands that have gone out of business

It seems like more and more beauty brands have gone out of business.  This thread is dedicated to conversation on this topic.  What brands and products are you missing?  What are your theories behind the closures?  What brand(s) do you think will be next?  What do you think this says about the future of beauty?

Re: Beauty brands that have gone out of business

Bite Beauty hasn't "closed", but they have pulled their commercial line. They're just going to be doing their custom made lipstick experiences now. They were my favorite lipstick company though, so I'm sad to see the product line go 😞

Re: Beauty brands that have gone out of business

Interesting topic, @greeneyedgirl107 ! I've been seeing a lot of TikToks regarding this topic lately. I miss the Marc Jacobs line so much, especially those eyeliners.

I also enjoyed the lilah b products I got as gratis from here years ago, but maybe it's partially my fault for not purchasing anything from the brand. I think it's just that the brand wasn't all that visible compared to other clean brands like Ilia and Kosas, whose products I actually did purchase. And then along came even more popular brands like Tower 28 and Saie.

As for brands who are next, honestly, probably some of those celebrity and influencer brands that don't have unique products or really popular or high quality products. It seems like celebrities keep launching beauty brands, but only a handful are known for having truly great products--Rare Beauty comes to mind (those blushes are sooo good).
