Last year I started this late, so I figured that this year I'd start early!  Feel free to post about all things fall, Halloween, beauty and everything in between.  Answer as many or as few prompts as you'd like, and know that you're encouraged to add your own ideas as well!

@JoSometimes I pretty much only wear cardigans!  I wish I had saved my grandfather's vintage Lord & Taylor one.

Aww that’s too bad @greeneyedgirl107! Fashion is so cyclical and everything from yesteryear is back in style again. It makes me almost want to keep my old clothes but then I also don’t have the space for everything!

October 12: Best way to consume apples?  (Cider, pie, sliced...?). Apple butter.  The village I grew up in has it's annual apple butter festival this weekend!  Woo-hoo! 😁

I used to get my apple butter from the Pennsylvania Dutch country @Titian06. I always thought it was special.

Oct 9- What I look forward to most those time of year is long fall walks and the cooler breeze. I really like taking time to enjoying the changing of the leaves 🌻

Oct 10-  For pumpkins and gourds what I'm looking for and like best, is interesting shapes.

Oct 11- My favorite sweaters are cozy ones that I can curl up in. 🐈

Oct 12- Best way to enjoy apples, Carmel Apples or as Hot Cider.

Slice them up and eat them raw.  No better fall treat especially if you picked them yourself

October 8: favorite fall drink? Tea! I've been drinking lots of tea lately as the weather gets a little colder. I'm liking chai and other spiced ones a lot right now.

October 9: what do you look forward to most this time of year? Hmm, I look forward to curling up by the woodstove when it gets a little colder. I love seeing the leaves change. And we're heading into the time of year of the fall and winter holidays, good food and family togetherness, so I always look forward to that.

October 10: what do you look for in pumpkins and gourds? For pumpkins, the more symmetrical the better. For gourds, interesting colors and shapes!

October 11: favorite kind of sweater? I have lots of sweaters, from cardigans to thick knitted pullovers, but I think I like the cozy ones best. These are two of my favorites - both thrift store finds; the polka dotted one I like to wear around the house in colder weather (I'm wearing it now lol). The cardinal one is my favorite holiday sweater 🎄

October 12: best way to consume apples? There are lots of great possibilities, but for sweet apples I'll have to go with pie. For Granny Smith apples, sliced and dipped in peanut butter.

@Cissy63  thank you! I love thrifting, my mom and I like to check out the local thrift shops together when we both have the day off. It's a fun and inexpensive mother-daughter activity!
