@CookieGirl1 Now this looks interesting! Retinaldehyde's been one of my skin's best friends for a couple years. I'll take a closer look at the INCI list later but, at quick first glance, it looks promising. Love that it includes several ceramides, cholesterol, and phytosphingosine. 0.15% retinaldehyde's a bit stronger than my Avene 0.1%, but if I try YTTP's it'll be for its other contributing ingredients, not the bump up in strength. Eh, YTTP's is only $2 cheaper (retinal's not a cheap ingredient to formulate with), so I'll probably wait til a sample or DS is available for testing. I did notice how neon yellow YTTP's version is, compared to Avene's more eggnog yellow. That's... interesting. 😄 But I'll keep an eye out for this one.

@WinglessOne I'm kind of intrigued by this one myself! YTTP products often work well for me and I, like you, appreciate a lot of the ingredient callouts here.

Such a nice, vibrant red, @Sunnysmom. Thanks for posting! This certainly is inline with the trend of Celeb.m.u. ranges. It's getting crowded! Which celeb. will release the next range or collab?

Is it known which cosm. manufacturer is connected with this? It could have a really decent formula- or not. I will await reviews.

True @MvLL ! Tho she, amongst so many, truly has had a passion for makeup for so long that I would not bet against her! She’s wanted to do this for an age it seems. Glad she kept it to her signature lip look too. Good idea.
According to WWD “The brand is a partnership with Nikki Eslami, cofounder of Bellami, and New Theory Ventures, Eslami’s venture capital firm that invests in early-stage, women-led projects with a social purpose. Stefani, who hints to a “giveback” element of the brand, has been consulting with Eslami’s senior team as GXVE builds and grows its own, which currently includes a creative director, head of marketing and head of product development. The products are cruelty-free, utilize refillable packaging and meet the Clean by Sephora standards. Industry sources expect first-year sales to reach $50 million, a figure that Stefani and Eslami declined to comment on.

“There’s nobody else who could come close to being more authentic about makeup than I am when it comes to doing a line, because it’s what I’ve been doing my entire life,” Stefani said.”
It’s pronounced “GIVE” and encorporates her initial plus X etc. I did not find out the manufacturer. I did order a few lips and an eye quad so I’ll be sure and post once I can swatch them if you’d like . 😊
