BODY ACNE HELP

I am in need of help with body acne! Chest and shoulders mostly. I have tried Murad and Proactive and neither worked. Any recommendations for body wash??

Re: BODY ACNE HELP

Another trick, @alejandra1212:

1) Wash face

2) Shampoo + Condition (Ensure everything is washed out) - Pull hair up

3) Wash Body with non-irritating products with tools that will help exfoliate shoulders/back/arms/etc well to get the products from shampoo & conditioning off of your body along with dirt and grime.  Ta-Da

This way you can continue to use whatever shampoo & conditioner you already use as well as keep your body from getting acne.

RE: BODY ACNE HELP

So, I’m gonna tell you the same thing my dermatologist told me: switch to Head & Shoulders shampoo & conditioner. I did it and a week later, all my body acne was GONE. He said that the ingredients in typical hair products can very easily clog the pores on your shoulders/back/chest if you like to take hot showers (which i do), and that switching to H&S will help prevent that from happening. It worked wonders for me,... Although I do miss my fancy shampoos sometimes LOL

RE: BODY ACNE HELP

The Neo-Gen Biopeel pads. I use the green tea one, but it really doesn’t matter which one you choose, they both have similar ingredients. I don’t wash it off, just scrub in circular motions after my shower. Ask for a sample of both next time you are in a Sephora. The other thing with body acne is: -make sure you are washing your undergarments regularly and try switching up the laundry detergent. It’s reside might be irritating your skin, if you notice the acne is coming up in areas in which your clothes are tighter- don’t use body wash or soap with SLS and fragrances, take a break. It might be doing more harm than good-.

One more thing I forgot to add, if you are using a thick conditioner, its oily residue can clog your pores. Keep your hair away from your skin when putting on conditioner and while washing it off.

RE: BODY ACNE HELP

Try Bioderma body wash, (blue bottle) works well and is dermatogically tested and approved to cure! Takecare 🙂
