Warning--NuFACE is discontinuing Gel Primer

I found confirmation on the brand site that NuFACE is discontinuing the NuFACE Hydrating Leave-On Gel Primer in favor of leaving customers to choose between other more expensive activators.  Stock up while you can.

For whatever reason, the primer makes my face really irritated and stings. Are there alternatives to this?
