Under eye wrinkles

I'm 34 and noticing fine under-eye wrinkles under my makeup. I haven't had this problem before 2 years ago and I'm using the same foundation and powder so it's not my makeup.

What is a good eye cream or eye moisturizer that will INSTANTLY hide under-eye wrinkles, that will be able to be worn under my makeup without affecting my makeup?

Also, what is a good anti-aging eye product? I don't have issues with dark circles or puffiness, so I'd like the best part of the product to be getting rid of fine lines/wrinkles (without drying my skin out because that seems to emphasize the fine lines)

Re: Under eye wrinkles

Hi @lita7612

I think that anything with retinol and hydration will be super helpful with under eye wrinkles. I have tried a number of products and for me, everything is kind of comparable. Some of the ones I've tried include:

The INKEY List Retinol Eye Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL

Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick 0.14 oz / 4 g

I also use drug store eye creams as long as they have retinols and are hydrating. I like the Cerave eye cream, and the Roc Retinol Correction Line Smoothing Eye Cream.

Hope this helps!

Re: Under eye wrinkles

It's common for our skin to change over time, and those fine under-eye wrinkles can be a bit bothersome. For instant hydration and a smoother look under your makeup, you might want to consider an eye cream with hyaluronic acidโ€”it's great at locking in moisture.
As for anti-aging, products with retinol or peptides like Argireline can be beneficial in reducing fine lines without drying out your skin. Just remember to introduce new products slowly to your routine and be consistent with them.
Also, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and using sunscreen daily can help keep those under-eye wrinkles at bay in the long run.

Re: Under eye wrinkles

There is no instant cure @lita7612

Using a primer can help fill and smooth over the skin. ( Making sure to let it set before using concealer or foundation. ) and starting a routine with retinol at night and SPF in the day can slow wrinkles down. Retinols are an active you may want to research about before just driving into. Like was mentioned below, actives takes weeks to start working or show thier results, patience is helpful โ˜บ๏ธ

Re: Under eye wrinkles

I also have this issue. Except for the natural solutions like Aloe Vera, for insttance (I allpy frozen Aloe Vera a a compress), I tried several skin care products. The best one turned out Diamond Infused Eye Cream. I found out about it from the Forever Flawless reviews (you can check them here if interested).
Maybe there are other products that might work for me, but I'm currently using this cream and it is great.

Re: Under eye wrinkles

@lita7612  No topically applied skincare product will instantly and permanently hide undereye wrinkles. For a very temporary effect, you could try Peter Thomas Roth Instant FIRMxยฎ Eye Temporary Eye Tightener 1 oz/ 30 mL  or Plexaderm, and I think StriVectin also makes a similar product now. โ€œVery temporaryโ€ = probably 8 hours max, and thatโ€™s a generous estimate. You can also talk to a board certified dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon about procedures to quickly reduce wrinklesโ€ฆ well, โ€œquicklyโ€ once your skinโ€™s healed post-procedure.

For longterm results using topically applied products, consider a low dose retinol or retinaldehyde eye product. Have you ever used vitamin A (retinol, retinaldehyde, tretinoin, etc.) before? Itโ€™s a good collagen booster that can reduce the appearance of wrinkles over time. Itโ€™s not an overnight miracle, so patience and consistency are key. If youโ€™re in the US, Ulta carries Avene Phisiolift Eyes which contains a low amount of retinaldehyde safe for use around the eyes. There are other options out there though.
