Stubborn forehead lines/wrinkles!

Hello ladies...I am 46 years young and still searching for a primer that actually does what it says. I feel at this point I've tried every product but realistically that is impossible with new products being released literally every day! I plan on getting Botox, but until then I am open to all suggestions! The area that is the worst is the deep, double " II " between my eyes. Any suggestions? Any help would be so appreciated! 🙂

Re: Stubborn forehead lines/wrinkles!

Red light therapy ~ and a good clean brand for skin care, no Botox required.  Caudalie & Clarins are both excellent skin care brands, pricey, but absolutely worth it.
Try Clarins DOUBLE SERUM® To Firm, Boost Radiance & Refine Pores

or Caudalie Premier Cru Fine Lines and Wrinkles Anti-Aging Set

Re: Stubborn forehead lines/wrinkles!

Guurlll I hate to say this within the Saphora community, but save your money on skincare and get a dr to write a prescription for a prescription strength retinol it can be a low dose to start, but my plastic surgeon told me in between getting Botox, to do this and build up to using it every night once your skin gets use to it. It’s very powerful but extremely effective for not only fine lines and wrinkles, but also gets rid of uneven skin, acne etc. it’s a miracle thing to have and you only really need to use a very inexpensive moisturizer and 100% a daily SPF for daytime. I was going for Botox every 3 months, now since I’ve been using my prescription retinol, for a few months (because it takes that long to really notice the lines and wrinkles fading away, but doesn’t take that long to see results for skin blemishes and even different texture etc) I’m now only going for very minimal amounts of units (which also saves me money) and it’s more like 5 months! It’s a very big win for your wallet and your skin.

@bonniebell2766

I’d also just skip and go for Botox. A good routine is paramount of course however, nothing is going to smooth or get rid of wrinkles as it promises to.

Re: Stubborn forehead lines/wrinkles!

Honestly, I would go straight for Botox and ask your provider about prescription tretinoin. Those two things will give you proven results FAR exceeding anything that you can buy over-the-counter.  I started Botox five years ago and wish I had also started tretinoin then. When that Botox kicked in, I was just like Meryl Streep in that movie, “ Death becomes her” as the wrinkles just fell away from my forehead and eyes! I literally shrieked, “ I am a girl!” I started tretinoin on my 55th birthday three months ago and already have people asking me what I’m doing to my skin.

@bonniebell2766  I’m also 46, and mine came in hard and fast when I was 32. I’ve been getting them Botoxed twice a year since, and I’m very satisfied with the results. I’m also using retinol. My suggestion would be to use Sunday Riley 5 Stars Retinol + Niacinamide Eye Serum 0.5 oz/ 15 mL just between your eyes. I also use the Sunday Riley Luna Retinol Sleeping Night Oil all over. I think using them both has helped give me long lasting results.

Following as I am in the same boat. I have been debating Botox as well but a little nervous to start.
