Lip treatment

I'm looking for some recommendations for a good lip gloss or treatment (made with healthy ingredients) to help with thinning, aging lips 😕 I'm over 35 and am noticing a significant change in the way my lips look. Before turning to fillers and plastic surgery, I'd love to try something more natural.

I second the Bite Agave Lip Mask recommendation. I recently tried a sample and was amazed at how good it was. You need the teeny tiniest amount to fully treat your lips. Although the tube is on the pricey size, I think it will take me 3 years to get through it at this rate! Plus Bite uses all food grade ingredients. They offer it in a few colours if you want to wear it during the day in place of lipstick.

I've had good luck with Bite Agave Lip mask, which I use couple times a week. It helps keep my lips exfoliated and hydrated (along with drinking enough water). But it won't help with plumping.  Most plumpers work because they have an irritant in them, the irritant causes you lips to swell slightly to give the plumped look; but the result of the irritant can be itchy, red, dry lips if used too much.  I use a plumping lip gloss (Buxom) occasionally, but I can't honestly say I've noted much plumping - more like tingling on my lips.

Laneige lip mask is a great night time mask that keeps your lips soft. Grande lip will make your lips look plumper.  I hope you find something that works for you.

My absolute favorite lip balm is Intelligent Nutrients Lip Delivery Nutrition. Nothing has beaten this lip balm and I've tried many. It does moisturize very well and if I have problems because I'm testing something else this one will fix it. Fresh is a good one like mentioned below, you can also try Bite agave lip balm or mask. Oh and Deciem came out with a new sub company called Esho. Esho is all about the lips. They have 3 products one of which is called sculpt for shape and volume. Maybe you'd like to try that. I'm trying it out now. It does plump your lips for a while but not sure how it works with continued use. It also made me a bit red... like first time trying it I went "Yikes!" but today was a bit better so we shall see. The price point isn't bad either. I've had my lips done before so if ever you want to look into that I suggest looking into Juverderm. It uses hyaluronic acid which is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. Just including this in case you wanna go that route in the future 🙂

@angelicadHave you noticed a plastic or waxy smell from these?  I have a couple and I noticed they have an odor, maybe I am not using them up fast enough.

I buy the mini sets. One that was exposed to heat did get a rancid odor. It was part of the same set so I don't think it was old.
