Good Foundations

I am looking for a good foundation that won’t look thick or caked on, but will leave my face looking smoother.  I am 56 years old.  I don’t want anything that will dry my skin out....

I currently use the Clinique foundation “Even Better Foundation”.

Re: Good Foundations

@Ammorse  I hear ya. All of my go to foundations over the years no longer work with my mature skin. I have started using NUDESTIX Tinted Blur Foundation Stick  and I love it. It is VERY light coverage but it evens out my skin tone and creates a nice base for my makeup while still letting my skin show through. Blurring stick is really a good name for it because it blurs wrinkles and blemishes. It looks like I'm not wearing makeup, like my skin but better. Best part is that it doesn't accentuate my wrinkles. I am really loving it. I was Leary at first because it looks like a "young person" product haha. But I am so glad I tried it. I have had people comment on how I have such great skin or I look so good for my age because they don't even know I'm wearing makeup. I highly recommend trying it out. Just make sure, if you have dry skin, that you use a good moisturizer under it.

Re: Good Foundations

Thanks for the recommendation!  I’ll have to try that!

Re: Good Foundations

Thank you for the recommendation.  I went to Sephora and the young lady in the store recommended as well.  I’ll be trying tomorrow as I get ready for work.  She also recommended the Pore-Fessional pore reducing primer for under my makeup.  There is so much out there today!  Whatever happened to Covergirl that smelled like Noxzema!!  😃😉
