Facial Moisturizer

I desperately need recommendations for a new facial moisturizer. My skin reacts badly to anything heavy and I’ve yet to find a gel cream that offers enough moisture. I successfully used Chantecaille products for years but they’ve priced themselves out of my market and I can’t seem to find anything that works as well for my sensitive skin.

I love the Fresh line of moisturizers.  I’m 61 and also have sensitive skin.  This product is fabulous.  No scent.  A little goes a long way.

I’ve been loving the LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Gel Moisturizer 1.6 oz/ 50 mL ($40). Very hydrating and it has little water beads that burst as you apply. I also use the naturium 5% Hyaluronic acid serum($16) before and it’s been a game changing duo.

For sensitive skin, Skin Fix makes some stand up products @Sproutster 

My skin is dry and sensitive and what I love best is my glow recipe,  Glow Recipe Plum Plump Refillable Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer  (for day time) It gives me a glow and really good hydration. 

I have used LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Niacinamide & Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL  (night) and LANEIGE Mini Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer .67 oz/ 20 mL (day) They are gentle and moisturizing and not too pricey 🩵💙

Also a fan of that Plum Plump from Glow Recipe!!  The Belif Aqua Bomb line may be good for you.  I felt it was pretty light weight and had a gel like consistency.

I have loved tatcha dewy moisturizer and ole Hendrickson! Both are fantastic. In the winter (I’m on Mew England) the IT cosmetics moisturizer was damn good. No primer needed and it made my skin soft and subtle.

Hello!  I am 55 and have very dry, sensitive skin.  I hate when I spend a lot on a product (sometimes over $100) only to find I react to them.

i recently bought Caudalie Hyaluronic Hydra and Filling Good by Farmacy and they work well.  They are serums though.  I have found some over the counter moisturizers that work well for the skin and budget too (CereVe is good), and Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream and Night Cocoon can be worn for two days and be comfortable (I don’t wear makeup much).  I hope that helps.

i went hiking today with an expensive vitamin C cream on my face.  By the end I was pouring sweat and this was mixing with the cream and now my face burns.  I would steer clear of vitamin C if your face is sensitive
