Drunk Elephant Serum - which one?!

I’ve been using the b-hydra serum for a couple years now and love it, but I’m interested in trying the #drunk elephant protini serum.

my main concern is my sensitive skin (I’m allergic to artificial fragrance) and fine lines. Any suggestions as to whether I should take the plunge and go for the protini?

Re: Drunk Elephant Serum - which one?!

@emmamoo12 I went to check the Beautypedia site about the Protini serum, and it's undergoing a re-vamping process.  I really hope they add in some new products pronto.  Anyway, the Drunk Elephant B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum with Hyaluronic Acid 1.69 oz/ 50 mL is much more for hydration, whereas the Drunk Elephant Protini™ Powerpeptide Resurfacing Serum with Lactic Acid 1.0 oz/ 30 mL seems like it's much more about AHA (it's got 10%, which is a high place to start if you aren't used to AHAs and have sensitive skin) and peptides.

If you are simply looking to try something new and try another hydrator, I rec First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Hydrating Serum .  If you are wanting to add in peptides, I rec The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Hyaluronic Acid Serum for Firmness and Elasticity .I you want to try AHA, I'd start with a low concentration.  Paula's Choice makes 5 and 8 percent.  Start slow with the AHA if you aren't used to chemical exfoliation and have sensitive skin.

Good luck!  🙂
