Best makeup for mid 30’s?!

Well guys, it finally happened. My makeup needs to “change with the times”...what does everyone use/love to clue those fine lines and keep looking as young as you feel? Without a filter! Lol. Maybe I’m looking for a miracle where there isn’t one. And maybe one day I’ll accept my aging. But I’m not ready yet! Looking for: Fav primers Under eye concealer Foundation Powder Thank you!

In my mid to late 30’s:/ I started focusing on skincare . Clarisonic 2-3xs a week, I cleanse with Cetaphil nothing fancy . Some kind light exfoliation either an enzyme peel or alphabeta peel or Sunday Riley power duo . Pick you choice . A good vitamin c oil morning and night . I like skinceuticle vit ce ferulic ... drunk elephant is pretty close second but it always turns bright orange before I even come close to finishing my bottle so I’ve switched to biossance squalene+vitamin c +rose oil extract and I’m loving it. Then a good moisturizer. I switch up my moisturizers but important part is to put this on over the vit c oil . As for quick temporary fixes the PTR gold eye gel patches and aloe gel eye patches work pretty good for me . Last abt 4 hrs . So not bad for a quick fix for an early meeting . Amazon has something similar by petifee which work pretty similar but I wear them for abt 15 20 minutes to get the full effects. SkII has a great sheet mask also . As well as any karuna sheet mask. If you want to truly delay wrinkle Botox. Depending on how expressive you are determines how long it lasts . As for makeup . Concealers I’m liking Nars radiant concealer in chantilly; YSL touché eclat , and Armani’s pink and yellow concealers . My favorite foundation is Armani’s maestro glo but they discontinued it 😞 so the nest best is their luminous silk foundation they have it in matte and luminous . It’s not Cakey and doesn’t seem to set in the fine lines or pores which is why I like it . As for powder foundation - Dior .

I have found that I had to switch up my skincare as well. My skin was feeling a bit drier and had more texture all of a sudden. I personally use some Peter Thomas Roth items as I find that they really help with exfoliation and help my skin have a glow to it.

@DaynaSD For fine lines I love Drunk Elephant C-Firma.  Primer-YSL Toucle Éclat Blur Primer, Concealer-Cle de Peau, Foundation Powder-Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish.  I am 35 and use these products and they work great for me.

I'm 34 and can definitely relate! Right around 31 I developed rosacea, so I had to overhaul my product choices. Now I do research on ingredients before buying any face product; as tedious as it is, it's been critical in reducing flare-ups. Here's what I currently use (I prefer light to medium coverage and a natural finish, for reference):

Primer: I don't use this every day, only for date nights or other events. When I do, it's the Hourglass Veil. 

Foundation: Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint or Omiana mineral foundation for daytime. I work in a school where almost nobody wears makeup, so I'm comfortable with a nice light coverage. When I want medium coverage, my new obsession is Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover. I can't say enough good things about it! 

Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy, all day every day. Nothing beats it for me. 

Powder: I use it sparingly, and I *never* bake because I don't like the matte look. Still on the hunt for a good one, because the Laura Mercier has some icky ingredients and the Coty Airspun smells like grandmas. Normally I just spray with a little MAC Fix+.

I would personally focus on "your skin but better" type products. Some brands that are really good include Clinique and It cosmetics. Though they aren't priced the best for their size, they still work really nice. i love the it cosmetics cc creams and the clinique moisturizers.

I am 33 and decided to get rid of most of my makeup to start fresh. I have been using facial oils in combination with my foundation. I bought the farsali rose gold elixir it's pricy put worth it. They have a mini size one to try before you splurge for the big one. I use Farsalis Unicorn Essence as a primer which also comes in a mini to try. I recently bought the Fenty contour stick in Amber and it's really nice bendable creamy but not cakey. The Kylie cosmetics concealer is super full coverage I mix that with NYX hd concealer it seems to be a nice combo. I saw on a tutorial for ppl starting to get lines or prevent lines to use gel moisturizer versus cream so I got the Neutrogena Hydroboost. Hope this helps.
