Best Full Coverage Foundation

I’m looking for a recommendation on a full coverage foundation that will be less likely to set in my fine lines as the day goes on. i currently just use a CC cream but would like to try a full foundation because Im trying to learn to contour. Thanks Lovelies!!

Re: Best Full Coverage Foundation

I have tried about a dozen brands in the last 6 months and found three in different price points that I like. These are my favs based on my dry skin, especially around eyes. I need light  to medium coverage that hydrates to offset prescription treatment of melasma, the drying climate I live in, and my age (52). I have no affiliations with any brands or Sephora.

Luxury Price Point: Armani Luminous Silk Foundation at $64 for 30 ml - Medium Coverage

Likes: This WORKS. Plays well with skincare. Doesn't dry out my skin & only need a little because it blends and covers well.

Dislikes: no SPF in the product. So have to add that prior to applying.

Recommendations: Stop by a Sephora store and ask for a free sample in your color range. Use with the Armani Luminous primer which is also pricey but among the best I have found. This foundation is my go to for important first-client meetings, picture day, and special events because it is flawless for hours at a time. LARGE selection of color variations to choose from.

Mid. Price Point: NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 at $45 for 50ML -  light to medium coverage

Likes: as a tinted moisturizer this has excellent coverage, includes SPF, and does not dry out my skin. Touch of 'Radiant'

Dislikes: Need to reapply by early afternoon if I need coverage for a special event or pictures.  Not many color variations.

Recommendations: This is a solid every day foundation if you can find it in your color.

Drugstore Price Point:Option 1: Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting CC Cream SPF 15 - $20 for 50ML

Likes: Prior to turning 50, I used this religiously for 10 years because it was one of the few with SPF at the time. It hydrates decently and has excellent coverage. Plus it has brightening/lightening ingredients which again at the time was unique and helped my melasma.

Dislikes: Sometimes hard to find. Doesn't have the anti-aging (thinking retinol) that I prefer most days.

Recommendations: Best affordable go to when you are running out of the house in a hurry, hanging at home etc. Great option for those in their 20s and 30s. By mid-40s, need to add other products or switch to something with anti-aging included.

Drugstore Price Point Option 2: Covergirl Smoothers Lightweight BB Cream SPF 21 - $5 for 40 ML - Light coverage

Likes: Inexpensive, decent coverage with SPF that hydrates and I can just throw on when needed. Also don't care if TSA throws it out when I am traveling since it is so inexpensive. With the SPF it is a great quick fix when you don't have time for anything but an SPF but still want a little coverage.

Dislikes: This is not your daily product because there are no anti-aging ingredients.

Recommendations: I keep a tube in my travel bag and bathroom for those crazy busy errand days or 'no make-up' days.

Re: Best Full Coverage Foundation

@Jennessa140 I generally prefer more medium coverage foundation, but a full coverage one I enjoy is Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation. It is truly full coverage so a little goes a long way, but leaves a really nice finish.
