spf

hi I’m new to this group 🙂

I just wanted to know if using an spf is something that’s actually important and if I should add it into my skincare routine, like what would happen if I don’t use it?

are there actual benefits that comes to using one? and if so what spf to you guys recommend 🙂

Re: spf

@feid I'm going to add to the list of people who tell you that SPF is probably the most important step in your skincare routine.  Ask yourself this: why wouldn't you use it when it's the best anti-aging defense for your skin that you have?

Re: spf

SPF is very important it helps with aging and dark spots and reduces your risk for skin cancer. It also helps with wrinkles and sun spots:)

Re: spf

@feid SPF is an absolutely important step and should be a non-negotiable! Sun damage is one of the fastest ways signs of aging pop up. It contributes to dark spots and wrinkles, and increases your risk of developing skin cancer. Additionally, some other products you may be using in your routine (AHAs, vit c, and retinols) can increase the skins’ sensitivity to the sun, so finishing with an SPF will help protect it.

My favorite SPF products:

Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Primer SPF 50 1.0 oz / 30ml

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40

ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation

bareMinerals Mini COMPLEXION RESCUE™ Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30
