Tiny bumps on face after using The Ordinary Acne Set

  •

image.jpg

Okay so, I’ve started using The Ordinary Acne Set Thursday. It was all good no burning itching or anything. This morning I woke up and my lips felt really weird so I went to the mirror. I noticed I have these really tiny bumps all over my face and mouth and it’s making my skin textured which I’ve never had to deal with before . I’ve only ever had cheek acne. I’ll put a picture please help I don’t know what to do

[Not a professional]. Sounds like milia but i'm not sure. Maybe the products also blocked your pores and caused the milia? Which would be weird for products targeting acne but it happens. I would check the ingredient lists for all the products that you used. If you experienced it after the addition of these products in your routine then I would stop using them at once. Check if the products have significant amounts of dimethicones, petroleum, or silicone ingredients in them. Using a retinol product might help with this since it would increase cell turnover and hopefully speed up the process of getting rid of the bumps.

I've also struggled with acne since middle school so I feel you, finding the right products are so hard. If you're planning to try a new exfoliator after this I would highly recommend Paula's Choice BHA exfoliator + fragrance free oil cleansing in addition with a good water cleanser. I find that using products with calming ingredients like centella and mugwort also help a lot with my breakouts and such. Best of luck, I hope the bumps go away soon!!
