Stopping ProActiv MD

I’ve heard that people who’ve stopped ProActiv MD had broken out all over their face A LOT. Is this true for everyone or does it just depend on the person? I’ve been using ProActiv MD for about 6 months now and it cleared some of my acne but I still have acne scars and my pores are huge. I still break out occasionally. I get those huge pimples still and never have clear skin. It’s better than before ProActiv but I can’t say that my face is completely clear. ProActiv isn’t very healthy for your skin and I heard you become very dependent for it. I really want to stop using it and try a natural remedy instead of using these harsh chemicals. So do I stop using it completely? Or do I use it once a day instead of twice, then use it every other day and then gradually stop? If so, for how long do I have to continue? Please help me!! PROACTIV - ProactivMD 3-Piece Kit, 30 Day Introductory Size

Re: Stopping ProActiv MD

In my personal experience proactive did not work for me at all. I started to break out even more. What I did personally was stopped with the face wash  and moisturizer and kept using the salicylic acid spot treatment. That didn't do much so I stopped completely. (I can't remember the names of the products exactly, sorry!). A cleanser that did help my skin was the Cetaphil cleanser for oily skin which cleared my skin a lot. I also used aloe Vera and rosehip oil which are great for brightening the skin too. I hope this was of any help!
