Niacinimide

I have acne prone (but dry) skin and also struggle with redness. It seemed like niacinimide would be perfect for me! I used the ordinary niacinimide serum and it caused the worst break outs I’ve ever had!! Do you think that this is because of niacinimide or the product itself? I really want to try the niacinimide dew drop from glow recipe because I loooove their watermelon toner. Has it broken anyone out that originally broke out from niacinimide? @marissakayleen The Ordinary's formulation is known to cause breakouts for A LOT of people. It could be the high concentration or the use of zinc in the formula. But breaking out from that one definitely doesn't mean all niacinamide is off the table. Of course, you could have a natural reaction to niacinamide itself, but IMO it's worth it to try a different serum and see what your results are.
