Hyperpigmentation/Acne scars

I need help finding something to fade my acne scars. I was experiencing hormonal acne and it comes every now and then, but It has improved. I have very oily skin, will good primers help when putting on liquid foundation everyday? Help!!!!!

Re: Hyperpigmentation/Acne scars

Paula's Choice 2% BHA really helped to clear up my skin. I'd recommend checking these out to see if it works for you. There is a lot of information on the website.

Re: Hyperpigmentation/Acne scars

@AnonymousUnidentified Extra oil can be a sign the skin is dehydrated. Producing more oil to try and rebalance. Something skincare wise can be stripping of oil/drying the skin out too much.

I would start with skincare. Makeup only covers. If you can see a dermatologist, ask about chemical peels, a series tailored to your skin will help the marks. If not, Dr Gross has an at home version. Spf daily with a peel and not or marks will get darker.

If you list your exact skincare routine with product names, we'll be able to tell if it's contributing to the excess oil.
