@veronika23 I'm hoping the Lust 004.  I didn't care much for the highlighters, however I LOVE the lip products! I hope she sells the lipsticks separately again because I do not need anymore clear gloss or glitter.  I need the nude lippies to complete my collection 🙂

I just want all of you guys to know Pat McGrath Labs is shady AF.

I decided to return my Metalmorphosis kit after the things a lot of people had said and I just wasn't pleased. Before making my purchase, I had done all the research as to what their return policy is. I had followed every detail. It was unused, unopened, sent back within 30 days of purchase, and sent it back through a mail carrier that wasn't usps. All as instructed. I had received contact from their customer service rep when I had made the request to return, and even sent them the tracking as requested. They received their package on December 9th and as their website says, it can take 10-15 business days to be credited back the refund.

I have STILL yet to receive my refund. I contacted them several times in the last two weeks and I haven't heard back at all. I even contacted the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey (where their offices are located) last week and the BBB hasn't heard anything at all.

So basically, I GAVE them $165 for nothing. I will NEVER give them my business again. If you absolutely MUST buy any PML kits, just buy it from Sephora because at least you can get your money back. I have a huge regret buying from PML in the first place because I was worried the 005 Everything Kit would sell out as fast as the 004 kits did. Although it didn't.

I know the term 'Buyer Beware', but I took a screenshot of their return policy just so they can't say otherwise. If they even say anything considering they don't contact back.

OMG I am so sorry you had to deal with this 😞  They are super hard to reach!!! As per your comment below glad Paypal was able to help!

So sorry you had this experience -- and thanks for sharing to help the rest of us.  I think Paypal will help you.  Let us know how it turns out.  I haven't had a bad cosmetic customer service experience (yet) but I am in the midst of a big runaround with zara.com.  I filed a BBB report too.  I am constantly surprised when a company has terrible customer service -- I just assume that in this day of social media that they know how fast bad news travels.

@meganlisa@shimmerbaitThanks ladies, you both give me hope. I contacted Paypal because that's how I did the transaction and I am in queue for a rep so I hope I can get a claim made.

@volta Paypal is also good if you file the claim online.  Make sure that you provide the tracking information.  Good luck!  It's a shame some companies make us go through this hassle.

@meganlisaI spoke with the rep first because I wanted to make sure I made the correct kind of claim. She was extremely helpful and she made the claim for me. She also told me that the seller has ten days to contact and refund me otherwise Paypal will go ahead and reimburse me.

If anybody from Pat McGrath Labs lurks in this thread like they did early on---take note. THAT'S how you do customer service. You shouldn't even have the name 'customercare' on your email because it's obvious you don't even do that.

@volta Agreed.  I'll never buy direct again.  Glad paypal is taking care of the situation.  They usually do a great job.  The customer service makes a huge difference, especially with pricey brands.  I had a small problem with Chanel once and they sent me free samples, a letter and a voucher for free overnight shipping on my next order.  And the issue was not really their fault...a storm delayed a shipment a day.  Totally different experience.

@volta I had problems with Pat McGrath customer service as well.  After following up aggressively I got my refund.  But they don't make it easy.

@volta  Dispute the charge with your credit card company or bank. Make sure you retain all correspondence and your tracking number. Print out a copy of the tracking history. The more paperwork you have to provide for the dispute, the better. 

I had no issue with my return to PMG, but Target once gave me the run around and I had to dispute.

After being REALLY excited about getting the Metalmorphosis kit I'm ashamed to say I still haven't opened it. Has anyone had success with this kit besides @kso1225?

@Lyrical0238 I'm glad I'm not the only one, I was feeling very guilty. My Everything Kit has been sitting on my vanity patiently waiting. I've just had way too much going on recently to be able to play with my makeup like I want to. Hopefully I'll be able to get to it before Christmas.

@KMariel I'm glad I'm not the only one with the Everything Kit sitting unopened. I've had a few chances to play with it, but I didn't want to open it without some input from the lovely ladies on BT.

I love my pigments,I have been using them with too faced shadow insurance (the regular one). The creams are ok but the stars of this kit are the pigments for me.I don't wear black eye liner so no comments on that.

@Seymore3 Thank you for telling me your opinion on the kit. I don't really wear black liner either, so I was going to give the liner away or trade it (if I keep the kit).
