Hi there! I also have acne prone skin, so I'll share some skincare products that helped me with my acne! to start my nighttime routine, I remove my makeup with SEPHORA COLLECTION Melting Cleansing Balm with Algae Extract 4.22 oz / 125 mL then I go in with The INKEY List Salicylic Acid Acne + Blackhead Cleanser for my toner I use the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner 5.07 oz/ 150 mL then I go in with the The INKEY List Niacinamide Oil Control Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL along with the #The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Exfoliating Blemish Solution 1 oz / 30 mL then I put my retinol and end the skincare routine with a gentle moisturizer ( I use Cetaphil). When I'm not using my retinol, I use the The INKEY List Succinic Acid Treatment 0.5 oz/ 15 mL . some of these products are featured in some sets: The INKEY List Breakout 101 Glow Recipe Dew + Glow Trio The Ordinary The Acne Set Hopes this help!

@taysirene Are you sure they’re blackheads? There are other things people mistake for blackheads, such as sebaceous filaments. Has a dermatologist diagnosed your skin? A derm can also extract blackheads or recommend personalized treatments, especially for sensitive skin (assuming yours is sensitive, based on your thread title). Closed comedones can take months to clear, so you need to be consistent and patient there. This is another thing a derm can address. To reduce this type of acne, I use azelaic acid (my favorite is Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster 1 oz/ 30 mL) which also helps other skin conditions I have; I apply it twice a day. I also use salicylic acid a few times a week, and vitamin A (the retinoid family; in my case, retinaldehyde) daily. An AHA exfoliating serum 1-3 times a week also helps with maintenance. Your results may vary, based on your particular skin and what’s really going on there. Rather than throw more money at products that might not help you, I recommend seeing a derm if you can.

 Recent have been using some Paula’s Choice goodies and they been working wonders for my acne!! It’s has calm down and my face feels less irritated unlike before it’s was painful with cystic acne in some places as well. It has taken some time but being patient and NOT PICKING as helped. #paulaschoice #skincare #sephora
