I have been thinking about buying the hourglass ambient lighting palette for overall glow to my face. I am also hearing great things about Guerlain Meteorites compact and now am confused. I need help from you ladies which is a better option? Thanks!
APRIL 12 - 21 FOR VIB ROUGE APRIL 16 - 21 FOR VIBS APRIL 17 - 20 FOR BI I like to plan for these sales way in advance. I know it's not till the end of March / early April but I thought this feed would be fun to see what everyone is considering! What do you plan on purchasing? Here's what I'm considering... definitely need to slim down the list... what do you think are must haves out of these? Opinions on these products? (repurchasing these pills.. gone through 4 bottles already.. love them!)
Has anyone tried and compared Bumble and Bumble's Surf Foam Wash shampoo to John Frieda's Beach Blonde Cool Dip shampoo? I have tried B&B and know I like it, however it is a tad pricey. I love their new Surf Infusion spray compared to the original, so I'm not so interested in John Frieda's spray, despite it being a cult classic in its own right.
How should makeup be properly removed? I don't want to over cleansed my face. I just want to make sure I'm removing all my makeup properly and that my skin isn't congested. Right now I use neutrogena face cleanser to remove my foundation and eyeliner I don't really wear eye shadow. Then bosica facial cleansing gel to clean my face then I use to derma e moisturizer. I don't think the neutrogena is really getting all the dirt and makeup up. I have dry skin
I really like the Better than Sex mascara made by Two Faced but it irritates my eyes. Any suggestions for another mascara that goes on wet like that one? I prefer one that doesn't smudge either and is longer lasting.
I'm going to post a picture of me without makeup. Because hey, I love makeup, but I'm also working on embracing my face au naturel, too. None of this "I'm not wearing makeup" when you're wearing a tinted moisturizer, brown mascara, and have a slight flush to your cheeks and lips. I'm talking no makeup AT ALL (No, not even clear lip balm). This is me, about 10 minutes out of the shower. Anyone else brave enough?
I need some advice on a new cleanser. My nose is my biggest skincare concern right now. I feel like it can't make up it's mind. It can get a little oily if I'm just being lazy and hanging around the house but not super oily. It gets dry sometimes and even flakes which it never used to. The biggest problem is that I get hundred of little black heads on my nose and on my chin. I have never been able to get rid of them. The rest of my face isn't so great either. I feel like I'm starting to notice slightly fine lines. I get redness in my cheeks and my pores do seem enlarged but nothing compared to my nose. I do get the occasional pimple near my hairline or on my upper lip . Acne was has never been a huge issue for me but it is something I'd like to stave off as much as possible. When I was teenager I had such amazing skin and in this past year I feel like it's really lost it's luster and I have no clue how to get it back! I've been using the LUSH line for a while and I'm at my breaking point and ready to quit them. I've been through 7 full containers of their cleansers and none of them have done a thing to improve my skin. They keep occasional acne at bay but that's it. And I think the LUSH toners do nothing compared to my old Clique clarifying lotion and their moisturizers are way too heavy and I don't use much! Can anyone recommended some new stuff for me. In this question I'm mainly looking for cleanser advice but other skincare product suggestions would be helpful too. I like the Clique dramatically different lotion+ and the super rescue night cream but I'd love some new suggestions. Also, I'm not looking for a make up remover or a 2-1 remover/cleanser, just a for after make up remover cleanser Thanks!
Hi I'm a Korean American with black hair, brown eyes and a light yellow skin tone. I just became interested in learning about make up and wanted to know what are some great eyes shadow palettes to start out with. However, I will purchase the naked basics palette but don't know which full size 12 shade of the naked palettes to get. I want neutral colors. What else do I need to start my very own make up kit? How can I make my face make up last long from having my skin very oily all day? I love having my eos lip balm because it keeps my lips moist but I wanted to know if I should get a hydrating lip gloss or lip stick? The shade I prefer is a rosy pink. Also, what's the best eye liner ? I do not want to wear false eye lashes ?
In the spirit of all the other wonderful challenges on BT right now, I'm starting up a nail polish challenge for us. I have a ridiculous stash and I need to show my polish some love. With nail polish, once a day would be absurd (of course), so let's try and show off a new look and polish once a week. I'm personally going with manicures only, but if you'd rather do pedicures or even both go for it! I'm eager to see your collections and meet other polish junkies. It's past time for me to commit to using my stash! In preparation for my mom's bday brunch this spring, I want to buy her something that will help diminish her aging spots that are really bothering her. She has fair colored skin with light brown spots, and she has been wanting to do something about it that doesn't require lasers. Any advice would be great! Thanks
I am currently trying to figure out how i get that smooth hydrated skin ive been wanting forever! I cant seem to figure out exactly what products to use or what issues my skin is having..... I seem to have combination skin but more on the dry side (for example i have been wearing makeup all day and only a little oil shows on an oil blotting sheet).... my dry areas consist of around my nose, chin, and cheeks- my skin is not smooth to the touch, yet it is not breakouts that are making it bumpy- when i apply makeup it looks dry, cakey, and not glowing..... and i can see tons of little white dots or plugs in my skin my routine consists of.... clarisonic with cashmere brush head- maybe every other day peter thomas roth gentle complexion correction pads- 1 a week dr jart water sure gel moisturizer dr jart water fuse sleeping mask- 2 a week ole henriksen- walnut scrub- maybe 2 a week cleanser- currently a sample of ren cleansing balm but not sure if its right?? also have fresh soy cleanser..... topical retinoid cream from dermatologist- every other day at night ' any suggestions???
Hi everyone, Since there are many LE items or discontinued items that we search for, I wanted to know if there is any interest in maintaining a thread to post any unicorns we stumble upon and list where it can be found so others can try to find these items that they are looking for. I thought this might be useful as I found a few items on my trip and also found it extremely helpful when a fellow BT member posted about the availability of Tom Ford's Nude Dip on Selfridges a couple of months ago so that a few of us could finally order this LE item. I also thought that if there are LE items that people are looking for, they could PM me and I could add it to the main thread so that others would know what others may be looking for. I could update the Found Unicorns on the main post weekly. Looking for your thoughts, suggestions? This would be strictly for limited edition items and discontinued items. Please include location, date found, and price if it is selling for less or more than regular retail price. Thanks in advance! I know we still have a few more hours until the 1st, but I thought I'd start us off, anyway! I got the email that the Shiseido Veiled Rouge lipstick I tried to buy earlier this week (but got a shadow shipped to me instead, lol) was back in stock, so I decided to try buying it again. Come on guys! Let's hope the second time for Skyglow is the charm What've you hauled or will be hauling this month?
Lately I have been going over my purchases and I noticed a tiny trend - I am obsessed with some things more than others. So what are your 5 things/products that you are obsessed with lately (it could be anything - from food to clothing to makeup, etc)? Mine are: - Skin care (Algenist, face masks, and serums) - Purses (bought 4 purses in one year, and continuing to look .. smh) - Starbucks (holiday drinks) - NARS creamy concealer - Bite Beauty
I tried asking my question on a bunch of other threads and it's not getting answered. I apologize in advance to anyone who's annoyed by all the threads on here that are on this subject. Can a mod tell me what Kevyn Aucoin concealer color I'd be? I'm 4Y02. I wear MUFE HD in 118, Pro Finish in 117, HD Concealer in 330, 340, 350, and Nars Creamy Concealer in Honey and Custard. I believe my color match in the new Nars foundation was either Punjab or Santa Fe but I think I'm closer to Deauville. Thanks
hi! its my first post on here and not sure how this works. so my question is do you know when or if sephora will carry the too faced spring line which includes this product? i really want to get it but i would much rather wait to buy it off of sephora's websites rather than too faced's
I'm 21 and for the past two years I have experienced and still experiencing continuous breakouts. The healing process is very slow and I have scarring all over my chin and some on my left cheek. In the same time my skin is very sensitive and dry (most of the time red). For a month I've been using La Roche-Posay Effaclar DUO Acne Treatment but it stopped working and new breakouts start coming out. Can you help me recommending some products??
I wanted to see if anyone could make a recommendation for me! My skin is finally clearing up from battling with acne, but I still have a pretty uneven texture. It's like there are tiny undeveloped bumps underneath my skin near my cheeks especially. Can someone give me a suggestion for any skincare products that might be able to smooth out my skin! I'm also on a budget. Thanks!
