@KatieBT What a fun thread. It was Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos serum in 2015. I think it was Dec, 2015. I was in another country for the time being and had bugged a colleague to bring me back things. I ordered and shipped it to his hotel. Poor guy had Sephora boxes getting delivered to his hotel. 😄

First thing I had bought was The Morph M441 brush, primer, eyeliner and the Jacyln Hill palette which I've been waiting to get and then I went back the next day bought more because well the Kat Von D contour palette and setting spray were needed as well lol

Wow, my first Sephora purchase was sooooooo long ago. I was so overwhelmed and too shy to ask questions, so all I came away with was a Lilac scented Sephora Collection Shower Gel, I think I still have the distinctive bottle somewhere!

First makeup purchase was a Lorac single eyeshadow - Mesmerize, the most perfect peachy golden shimmer that just did SOMETHING amazing when I wore it. It's the only eyeshadow single that I have panned and purchased multiple times, and when it was eventually discontinued, I kept the almost empty container, because I'm nuts 🙂

@byme4u Yes! Interesting to look at, useless in function. The one I had was super rigid and you couldn't actually squeeze it, you just had to wait for the gel to slowly ooze out. I remember Sephora had a wall of them in all the different colors as a design element.

My mom took me to Sephora for the first time when I was 13. We were just passing by and she took me inside to look. I wasn’t really into makeup, just lip gloss and nail polish.

At that time which was in 2003, Sephora sold the brand “Hard Candy” and my mom bought me a shimmer lip gloss that twisted up and smelled like strawberry. I loved it so much and actually ended up using the whole thing.

I’m pretty sure it was also those Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners! I bought them in the bright blue and green shades, back when I was experimenting with how to do winged liner and found pencil easier than liquid. After that I bought some benefit velvet eyeshadows which I actually still love. 😅

Good grief. It was over 20 years ago... soon after the Paseo Nuevo store opened in Santa Barbara. It was most likely Miss Dior Cherie or Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Charms.

Mine was a Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep set - which led to my purchase of several

other Sephora Favorites sets in the ensuing weeks and months. I was never into skincare nor makeup previously, only purchasing the odd thing here or there but with full size purchases from department stores - never found things I *really* liked but had so much of it to use up.

Enter Sephora and the world of mini sizes for purchase (not just GWP with full size buys - again from the dept stores), introduction to Play and other beauty boxes and here I am...needing to curb my beauty buys. And it all started with a Sephora Favorites Beauty Sleep set.

My first Sephora purchase would have been in August of 2009. I had just turned 16 and had went to Alberta to visit my brother before he got married, this is around the time I discovered Elle and Blair Fowler on Youtube and we had a MAC in my city so I already had Shroom and All That Glitters eyeshadow but that was about it. So I had a list of some other things.

I ended up getting a pair of cloud covered Tweezerman tweezers (lol, why was that a priority of mine), my first of many tubes of Urban Decay Primer Potion, Kat Von D Beethoven palette and this Too Faced bronzer palette. I ended up falling in love with Pink Leopard bronzer here and wore it every day with black liner and way too much foundation.

2011. My friend worked at a Sephora inside JCPenney at time. It was around Christmas so the amazing deal sets were out. My very first Sephora purchase was a Wild Rose Set from Korres. It had two full sized moisturizers, and the wild rose facial scrub for less then the price of a single moisturizer. I was hooked not long after I took that set home lol

I think we got our first Sephora in Boston around 2000 or 2001 and I definitely bought NARS Orgasm. And then every other NARS product on display. The original Beauty Insider cards were black and white striped cardboard and when you got up to VIB level (ooh la la!) they put a little sticker on your card. 💄

NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand blush palette. I remember signing up so I can get 10 percent discount lol 😂 As of now I hit pan 3 out of 6 shades 😂😍🤣 and planning to finish the rest up this year or next year

My first Sephora purchase was back in 2008 and it was the Too Faced Lash Injection mascara. I remember walking out of the store feeling so elated! That's when my makeup obsession began and I've been shopping at Sephora ever since! 😊
