What’s the best tinted moisturizer ?

@vardoui  “The best” depends on your skin, honestly. My skin reacts badly to several tinted moisturizers, and some are just not a good shade match for me. 

The ones my skin likes that are also in the right-for-me shade are LAURA MERCIER - Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - Oil Free and LAURA MERCIER - Tinted Moisturizer Natural Skin Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30. This surprised me because the previous version of LM’s tinted moisturizer was a failure on my skin. The reformulation is definitely for the better, for me—and the shade range has been extended for much better inclusivity. 

My former favorite was Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Skin Perfector, which is no longer sold in the US. 😞 That stuff was magic: it adapted perfectly to my skin tone. And I still like LANCôME - SKIN FEELS GOOD Skin Nourishing Foundation, though I also still think the shade range is too limited at both the deep and pale ends of the scale. It doesn’t adapt as well to skin tones as the MUFE or LM tinted moisturizers. (I know Lancôme calls is “foundation” but honestly, it’s a skin tint. It can be built up for more coverage, though.)

I would have to say Nars is a great option for all skin types, personally one of my favourites! Bare Minerals is great and Laura Mercier’s new Tinted Moisturizer has been a new favorite, I’ve used on lots of people and everyone is loving it! Hope this helps 💋✨

I second @faeriegirl's recommendation. I love the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue because it gives a natural, no makeup look. However, it's also a great foundation for layering. I like applying this tinted moisturizer before my foundation on days when I want extra coverage. ❤️
