It isn't uncommon for cosmetics companies to enter into an exclusivity agreement with a retailer.  Look at how often seasonal sets are only available at one retailer vs. all of the other retailers who normally carry that lines products.  Tarte, in particular, is very well known for this.  The Rainforest of the Sea collection had some items that were only available at Sephora and others were only available at Ulta.  The same thing happens every year with Tarte's holiday sets.  They always have items that are retailer specific.

Retails choose which lines their stores will carry and unfortunately shape tape was not part of the line. But if you hit up a tarte sale they often do free shipping or percentage off codes and sometimes both at once! I usually buy a few at once when the sales happen. They work so good for my skin type!

@youngali Because they have a contract/deal to only be sold at ulta and the tarte website! Maybe one day itll come to Sephora but no one knows.
