Hey BeautyTalkers,
We want to make sure you know that we are working to fix the site issues affecting Sephora.com for the past couple of weeks. Some of the fixes we are working to restore include 404 error messages and "All Brands" page access. While we work on these fixes, please try clearing your cache/cookies and updating your browsers for a better experience.
We're starting to see improvements and are hoping everything will be working properly in a timely manner. If you see any issues please report them below.
Thanks!
Katie
EDIT: Please include screenshots of the issues you're seeing if possible! It helps us out a lot 🙂
Was having the same issue with lack of Search box...until I opened this to reply to your post! (see screen shot) Now (and only on this tab that opened to reply to the post) I can see the "Search" box. Sephora is going to lose a lot of business if they dont fix this issue. Their original response was fro 2.5 years ago so clearly they know its been a problem.
I see the Chat Customer service isnt available now (its 730pm Pacific time) so I cant report it that way, and my email inbox is unmanagable so Im not going to email them.
Maybe a Sephora staffer reviews these posts (doubtful) and will see that we are all having this issue. Fingers crossed.
I'm so frustrated, every single time I go onto the sephora site on my computer, I lose all internet connection. I've cleared all cookies, data, and nothing is working. I even went on my command prompt to flush my DNS and that doesn't work either. I cannot go on any sites and I have to restart my computer every single time I go to the website. This has never happened to me on any website before. How can one website shut down my DNS server and prevent my internet? Maybe it's time to switch to ulta, this is rediculous and it's most definitely not my computer's fault. Something on the website is messing with my DNS servers.
This is happening to me now. If it's been going on this long and Sephora hasn't fixed it, it's time to get a new technical support team.

I’m so glad someone else posted about this. I thought I was going insane, but after testing it out more than 4 times, visiting the Sephora website, and only the Sephora website completely causes DNS issues for me and I have to restart my computer to get my internet responsive again. I’ve done multiple thorough virus scans, so it definitely it something on Sephora’s end. This is an insane issue that they need to check out.
I have the same issue. I haven't bought anything from Sephora for weeks and have just been buying from ULTA. But there are certain products that Sephora has. Such a bummer since the holidays are coming!
Exactly!! I'd *like* to do my holiday shopping but can't. Oh well....I'd prefer to use Sephora but Ulta will do just fine for what I need.
@KatieBT I've started having trouble trying to download pics while posting. I get the "too large". This has never happened before and doesn't happen on all threads. This is on mobile on Chrome. Thanks for any help!!😏
Orders arent showing up in Orders screen. I have 2 shipped orders and 1 that hasn't shipped yet as well as recieved one today and none are showing up on here to track. The second photo is my email for one order.
I've been trying to shop for a week on my laptop. My internet goes out after I go to Sephora.com. I literally have to restart my network connection, sometimes multiple times. This is extremely frustrating. I have never experienced this before.
I was able to fix my issue today! I was trying to go to Sephora through my Chrome browser. I went into settings and into security and deleted all my history, cookies, and cache. VUALA!!! I am now able to go to Sephora.com without it messing with the DNS server! I hope this helps a few of you! I was at my wits end!
At least I know I'm not the only one having this problem. Exact same issue. It's frustrating!

This exact thing is happening to me! I tried a million things, I thought maybe o had some malware or virus that my scans couldnt detect! I've never heard of a website bringing down my whole internet before! Qtf?
OMG! I have been having the same issues! I have to reset my dns server every time I try to go to sephora.com! So frustrating! I just want to spend money here!!! They are loosing sales!! Please let me know if you find a fix! Just out of curiosity do you have an HP laptop?
Same boat as all of y'all. I visit Sephora.com and my laptop internet crashes. It has taken me quite awhile to get it working again! W T H ??
Was looking up some Jo Malone items and I sorted by 'new'. I thought this looked a bit weird. The pics are incorrect.
Had this come up multiple times tonight on my PC laptop using Chrome:
I went to the Sephora.com main page, then when to the community link from there and was able to load the threads, however, after that, when I clicked on a heart notification to see which post received a heart, I wasn't able to heart anything back on that thread. I got the "unable to complete the request at this time" error that just shows up in red in thread. I went back out to conversations and can heart in this thread now.
Hi @snoflakefaerie, this "Request Entity Too Large" error page comes up for me multiple times a day and has been doing so for months. I previously reported it. I get the error using a laptop with Firefox. It happens a few ways: 1) when I click on a link from my e-mail that I was mentioned in a BIC post. The BIC Thread comes up but I have to login to enter a comment or heart a comment. When I click Sign In, I get the error message; 2) If I've been idle on a BI Community thread and the system logs me out. 3) When I log in to Sephora.com immediately after the error message and I'm automatically signed on, and click on the Conversations link and click on Talk About It, I'll then get the "Request Entity Too Large" message. This message always happens in conjunction with the BI Conversations-Let's Talk About It and signing in.
When I get the error message, I have to close the browser tab completely, open another browser tab, sign in, and click on Community - Let's Talk About it. For me, it happens multiple times a day. @KatieBT, I reported this error a little while ago.
@KatieBT This is an app issue. It keeps telling me my password is incorrect and wont let me log onto the app. My password is not incorrect, how am I on BIC then? I would rather not change my password for the 100th time on the app. I wanted to place an order and I only do so via app.
@GG84 thanks for flagging, I'm off to investigate!
Can you let me know if you are seeing this on all devices and browsers? If you haven't tried, please test to see if you run into this issue across devices (phone, tablet, desktop) and browsers (Sephora app, Chrome, Safari, IE, etc.). This will help us better understand the issue.
Your site lets me log in in Chrome but then flat out crashes my entire network and forces me to restart my laptop.
In Firefox it won't let me sign in at all, but then oddly shows me as signed in when I searched for and came to this forum.
Also the Search bar is randomly broken, as in totally gone.
I shudder to think how much money you're losing due to these constant site issues. So would your bosses, I bet.
