New year, new beauty faves! 💁‍♀️✨ In 2024, I’m doubling down on beauty products that work for me – seeing dry patches on my skin? There’s a moisturizer for that. Need to prevent acne after a workout? I tried a facial spray to fight it off! I’m big on new year’s resolutions, and I’m using this time of year to find motivation to dedicate more time and energy to the beauty products and routines that bring me joy. 💜

This month I have been experiencing breakouts. I used innisfree Super Volcanic AHA Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz / 100 ml to spot treat some acne spots. I also purchased Origins Super Spot Remover™ Acne Treatment Gel with Salicylic Acid 0.3 oz/ 10 mL inspired by @SportyGirly125 and it really helped me out. It created a layer over my breakout and prevented it from getting worse. For the dryness I used Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Refillable Face Cream 1.7 oz/ 50 mL that I got at Sephoria. I have tried samples of this before and liked it. Having a full size this time of year has been wonderful. I received the Bumble and Bumble heat protective primer in a sub box a while back and never had a chance to use it. I started using before blow drying and I think I found a new favourite. The Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Stick Blur + Smooth Tint Stick Foundation 7 was part of one of my makeup capsules for the 'On the Go' week from Capsule Makeup Collection Challenge . This quickly became a favourite because of its format and the way it makes my skin look and feel. It blends very easily. The Tower 28 Beauty Swipe All-Over Hydrating Serum Concealer 5.0 EP is a great skin match and has great coverage.

Love your lineup this month @Mellmars1185 😃 These all look great! I am only familiar with Skinfix's moisturizer, it is excellent imo.👌 You've peaked my interest in Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Stick Blur + Smooth Tint Stick Foundation 1 😉 that sounds really good!

@CynthieLu Thank you. My favourite makeup influencer was raving about the foundation. I love her recommendations so I tried it out. Not much come in the stick but it is worth swatching if you can to see if you like it!

Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Heat Protectant Leave In Conditioner Primer 8.5 oz/ 25...  I don’t dry my hair often with the hairdryer, but when I do, I use it. It’s efficient and lightweight.

@Mellmars1185 I don't have a favorite, per se, but I also really like the HUDA BEAUTY #FauxFilter Matte Buildable Coverage Waterproof Concealer.  Very different formula than the one from Tower 28 but I like having a couple of contrasting options.
