New year, new beauty faves! 💁♀️✨ In 2024, I’m doubling down on beauty products that work for me – seeing dry patches on my skin? There’s a moisturizer for that. Need to prevent acne after a workout? I tried a facial spray to fight it off! I’m big on new year’s resolutions, and I’m using this time of year to find motivation to dedicate more time and energy to the beauty products and routines that bring me joy. 💜
Here are a few of the products I’ve been reaching for most this month:
Calling all Beauty Insider Community members to share your January favorites! Hit “Reply” and name your makeup, skincare, hair, fragrance, and wellness picks – don’t forget to use the “#” symbol to tag those products, too. 😊
@jaaayp I follow some people online to see how to do it but we have lymph nodes all over the body! It is also possible to help reduce cellulite which I need all the help I can get! I also dry brush too. I find dry brushing is much easier to add to my routine since I don’t need to apply oil or lotion before. But I agree I need to educate myself a lot more and see which one has better benefits!
This is our year @ather ! I'm going tomorrow to get another lympathic massage. Instead of enjoying my massage, I'm going to be asking 1000 questions to her 😂 also OOOH gonna look into dry brushing now.. thanks for educating meeee 🥰🥰🥰
@jaaayp Lucky!!! I really need to see if someone in my town does lymphatic massage so I can do the same 🤣
It was really helpful for me the first time @ather because I can visually see how you're supposed to do it but having someone do it for you, I understood the amount of pressure needed. I HOPE YOU FIND ONE AND LOVE IT. instant difference I saw motivated me to continue! Although.. if my face is debloated... does that mean I'll see more wrinkles?!?! 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@jaaayp I have a mini of the CT setting spray. I haven't tried it but will once I finish the current setting spray I am using
That's smart @CorgiMommy I have like 5 setting sprays open because I'm just too impatient. Mine is mini too. I am contemplating on buying it full size or value size... LOL
I love your self care goals. ❤️ 🙌 I think making the time for yourself and self care is totally worth it.
I've tried cupping @jaaayp and I saw better results from my Red Light therapy or electronic devices like my NuFace, just my personal thoughts thou. 😉
Ooh what kind @CynthieLu ? I had a lympathic drainage massage for the first time a little while ago and she used the cupping tool and saw a pretty big difference (or I like to believe...) and she said it was easier to use than a guashua... but would love to know what you're using! I've been eyeing the nuface too... 👀
@GeorginaBT Great favs! That bath soak looks amazing! Adding to my cart!!! I’m on my hair care journey do you think the BondiBoost Anti-Frizz Serum with Vitamin C & Argan Oil 4.23 oz / 125 mL helps with growth?
I hope you love the bath soak @ather! I want to try it in a different scent next just to switch things up. 😊 And oooh, I don't know if I've noticed a difference in hair growth with the BondiBoost serum - I mainly only apply it to the shaft of my hair and not the roots. I do feel like it's helped with the hydration and overall health of my hair, so maybe from that perspective (minimizing breakage) it has been helping with my growth!
@ather I have been using their purple shampoo and conditioner. I think this is an underappreciated brand.
@CorgiMommy I saw that they were added to Sephora and I was so excited to try it out! Maybe they will start to get more of a buzz!
Ooh yes @GeorginaBT and @ather I am also very interested! 🤩
@jaaayp Is there anything in the line you are specifically looking at that I should keep on my radar?
The BondiBoost Anti-Frizz Serum with Vitamin C & Argan Oil 4.23 oz / 125 mL and the BondiBoost Heavenly Hydration Leave-In Hair Serum with Aloe 4.23 oz / 125 ml please 🙏 @ather I have the BondiBoost Hair Thickening Therapy Volumizing Leave In Styling Spray 4.23 oz / 125 mL and I've been pretty impressed. Would love to know if the others are good too?!?
@jaaayp Oooo I need to try the thicking spray!!!
@ather I hope you end up liking it! Full disclosure though, I noticed that for my hair hair (fine and thin) it added some body and volume but for my friend who also has fine and thin hair.... it just kinda looked frizzy on her. We don't know why 🤔 luck of the draw? LOL
@jaaayp Thanks for the tip!! I’ll keep you posted!
This month my favorite was Fenty Diamond Bomb and Charlotte Tilbury
setting powder ( the lunar new year one)! these are so good and I never skipped a day wearing them!
Just remembered that at the end of December I used colourpop Of Quartz palette twice and really liked it. Got a compliment from my boss. Would have loved to have worn it this month bit the entire month has been a dud to say the least. Anyway, very easy to apply with my fingers. @WinglessOne I know you wanted to know about it, as you were planning on getting it for a friend in February.
