Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette

I want to hear everyones thoughts on this palette!

• Do you think it will be worth the purchase? Why?
• Are you planning to buy the palette on the release date? (September 18)
• How do you think it will preform?
• What about the color scheme?
• How wearable/functional do you see this palette being?

Personally, I loved the Rose Gold palette! When I first saw the leaked pictures I was taken aback, my first thoughts were "Who wears purples with browns?" and "Why are there so many shimmers?!" but after some thought I am very excited for the colors Twilight and Blood Moon. Retrograde seems like it will be great as well, but might challenge my creative ability a little.

Angelic was my absolute favorite from the Rose Gold palette but I wish there would have been all new shades. *dreams that angelic becomes a single shadow*

I think the first row looks similar to the new Too Faced Just Peachy palette. I am worried about how little I will use Amethyst but maybe that'll be mostly on my under eye.. as for the third row I think all shades are great in that one as well.

Blue and Green eyed girls are really going to love this!

I'm so on the fence with this. Seen such mixed reviews. Pretty to look at but I'm sure I can dupe most of the shades. @AlyNichelle

@jesscheems I feel like there's a heightened level of hype because it has the limited edition label on it. Personally, I'm not a big metallics fan on my lids so easy pass for me. Beautiful shades though t_t

@jesscheems I don't know what to do. It's so pretty. It has been so hyped up it's going to sell out. I need it like a hole in the head. We don't need it right?  And then there is the Natasha denona that is a little  similar to this and I have managed to pass on that one so far. So then I'm using the ND for rationalizing that this Huda is half the price and then I can get the new Kat von D too LOL

@PaletteAddict99 I have so many dupes. I'm just sort of over it now. Can't believe I'm saying this lol. Yes but if you really want it sure beats paying for a ND palette and bonus of getting the KVD!- I've skipped hers because I just can't understand the pricing. I own many palettes as you know but ND is just way too much for me in terms of moolah 😛

@jesscheems ok your right about the dups. I'm not getting the Huda. But I am getting the KVD because every time I Try to skip a KVD palette I regret it and it haunts me for months then I end up on evil bay LOL

I have absolutely no doubt about the wearability of this palette. It's overall very warm and I feel like the color scheme blends well together, much as I'm sure the shadows will do. Everything about this is my jam, I am alllllll hype about this palette. It reminds me more of Naked Heat than the Just Peachy palette. But they're definitely similar orangey tones. Different enough for me to justify buying it. I'm practically counting down the seconds until i can make it mine.

On the Sephora app, it says Desert Dusk is available online Sept 18 & available in select stores on Oct 13

I'm still on the fence about this palette. Desert Dusk is stunning to look at, but I'm concerned about the quality.  Have the Rose Gold & it's great to look at & it does a beautiful look, but I'm literally stabbing my brushes into the pans. Dry, not very pigmented

I am a HUGE HUGE Huda Beauty addict. The rose gold palette is one of my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes so I am definitely looking forward to September 18th for the release of the Desert Dusk.

Omg I have the same question. I have colors in my collection that are similar to this: UD Naked Heat, ABH Modern Renaissance, Colourpop's Yes, Please!, and Too Faced PB&J. I skipped out on the Rold Gold Palette but this one looks stunning. I love the colors Saffron, Blood Moon, Turkish Delight, and Cashmere. I'm on the fence with this palette. I saw some reviews on YouTube and the quality looks great/workable. Any suggestions?

I have ABH Modern Renaissance and ColourPop Yes! Please. I'd also suggest checking out Smashbox Ablaze as a compact and affordable replacement along the lines of UD Naked Heat... IT'S SOOO PIGMENTED! And the colors are beautiful.

I haven't personality tried this palette, because it isn't vegan. I do want to say though, I LOVE the color selection. I think it's truly a unique palette. It would be great to add to a collection our to travel with, considering you can really achieve many looks with this variety.
