How to use Fenty Beauty Match Stix?

I am a quite a fair skinned lady (120 In Fenty Beauty Foundation), and I have sensitive, combination skin that leans neutral toned. I have been contouring for quite a few years now and have tried many products (Tarte, TooFaced, Anastasia, etc.) but most colors and shades Iโ€™ve tried are either too dark and warm, or just too ashy. When I do contour I tend to layer blush and bronzer over it for a more natural, blended look. I saw that Fenty Beauty is having a sale today on her match stix... I ordered the Amber shade for contouring. Is this the correct shade for me? And do I need to order โ€œthe trioโ€ of the contour, highlighter, and blush to make them work together? One last question sorry!- how does everyone blend these stix out? -thank you xoxo

RE: How to use Fenty Beauty Match Stix?

Hey girl!! I LOVE fenty, since the brand has launched Iโ€™ve been an active buyer and fan of the product. While some of the products from Fenty are holy grail items on my vanity, there are a few products Iwould recommend before the matchstix. For one, theyโ€™re rather drying, soif youโ€™re not working on a seamlessly perfect, hydrated, primed, canvas, the finish can look patchy and not last very long. Also, they donโ€™t set that well. They crease into fine lines and rub off. I recommend YSLtouchรฉ eclat concealer, Kevyn aucoin sculpting powder, Charlotte Tilbury concealing wand, makeup forever HD stick foundation, Bobbi brown correctors, nars liquid blush, nars stick blush and bronzer.. just a few

Hi @MandaPandaxx! I think amber will be the perfect shade for you considering it is more cool tone, so it'll be great for contour. I find these match stix to be a little drying, so I would suggest warming up the product on the back of your hand and then take your brush and grab some product. I would then press/stipple the contour in. Avoid rubbing so you don't move your foundation around! I hope this helps โค๏ธ
