As many of you know or may have learned from @misscg in her post on last week's Fenty event in NYC, Fenty is coming out with some drool-worthy newness including a palette devoted to the theme of Moroccan spices! In addition to this stunning palette, we played with an eyeshadow primer, brushes and their new liquid eyeliner. As you probably could assume, once the news was out on this launch we begged for the products and enlisted the help of Sephora PRO Artist @DinaPRO to give us some spicy eye looks. Read on to see pictures and learn more about the collection. (Spoiler alert: this collection is FIRE!)
Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette
We have all fallen in love the colors and the layout of she shades. You have cools and warms from left to right and you also have different finishes (mattes, satin and shimmer). The shimmers are a little close to glitter but there is hardly any fallout. These shades are all very buttery so there’s a creaminess while applying that makes them very easy to work with no fallout. Pro tip from Dina: Use a wet brush with the shimmer shades to prevent fallout and to make the formula creamier. She did this by applying a wet brush into a corner of the pan so she could also use the dry formula afterwards. We tasked Dina to create looks that were mild, medium and super spicy! My look was mild, @Alexabt got a medium looks and @TayBT was extraordinarily spicy!
Pro Filt'r Amplifying Eye Primer
This eyeshadow primer has a brightening effect to it and will not budge. Dina dabbed some on her hand and it would not come off, event with her makeup wipes. My eyeshadow stayed put for 10 hours and was pretty difficult to remove with a makeup wipe. I had to use my oil cleanser to actually remove the shadow which means I’ll be snagging one of these asap!
This brush is great for packing on eyeshadow pigment as well as blending all over the different parts of the eye. This brush is incredibly versatile, easy to use and it’s effective at depositing that color seamlessly.
This brush is unique in shape, making it easy to work with. It has a slight blend in it that hugs to the eye while blending shadow to get your crease blended out. It’s also super soft and silky, especially for having synthetic bristles.
Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner
The more Dina played with this liner, the more she loved it. The tub is triangular so it’s very easy to grip, which reminded us of #2 pencils - ergonomic approved! It’s a continuous liquid so you don’t need to worry about it drying out. Depending on which part of the liquid pen you use, you can create thick or fine lines.

All 4 of you look terrific! I love all the different looks that were created by Dina !
Wow! I can't even decide on which look is my favourite! They're all so pretty and different! Great job, @DinaPRO!
Side note: Love all of Rihanna's product and shade names. They're always so creative.
Hey! Some of the reviews of the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette was okay but some of them were really disappointed. If anyone got the chance to try these beautiful eyeshadows, where are your opinions? More than that, I would really love to hear what eyeshadow palette do you think it is similar to. 🙂 (Color, pigmentation and creaminess etc..) Love you beauties!
