Hey all! I just landed a beauty advisor position 🎉 With that being said I’m trying to learn as much as I can including what everyone’s current favorites are! 💖 I figured it’d make learning different products more fun and easier plus while seeing what’s trending currently! What’s your current favorite makeup product? What’s your current favorite skincare product? What’s your current favorite brand? (Can be skincare or makeup or BOTH!) This feedback is more about customer experience at the VIB or higher level or maybe for all. It is about the rewards, or lack thereof, since the beauty insider program changed and even before the change.  I suspect you’ll hear this often.

the samples offered are inconsistent, with little variety and the quality minuscule.

as for beauty rewards offerings, often there aren’t any as they sell out online before you can even see them or there is nothing to order.

this has been going on now for well over a year and I for one being VIB Rouge am really unimpressed.  I’ve had no incentive at all in over a year to care if I was a beauty insider.

My fav makeup product is the PEEK Beauty Metalimatte blush. It isn't for sale on sephora, but it's a blush that also has a bit of shine. It's my favorite because I have sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts, but this doesn't give me any trouble. It's super blendable, doesn't need brushes, and reasonably priced.
Fav skincare product is #dermalogica ultra calming serum concentrate. I use it every day and it helps moisturize.

I'll limit my answers to Sephora products, what I'm currently obsessing over:

What’s your current favorite makeup product?  Too many faves, but my old stand-by for eyes is SEPHORA COLLECTION - 12hr Colorful Contour Eyeliner.  Today my brows were imperfect, I tried a new mascara primer that was a little so-so - but my liner was great!

What’s your current favorite skincare product?  THE ORDINARY - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

What’s your current favorite brand?  For skincare it's FAB.  For makeup, it's a little hard to choose b/c I use a little of this and that.  I always have to know all about Too Faced's eye palettes, though.

@ShelbyMarieG Congrats! I have lots of favorite products. When it comes to skincare, I'm loving Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™ AHA + BHA Mask and KOH GEN DO - Cleansing Spa Water Makeup Remover. As for makeup, I love Shiseido products, especially SHISEIDO - VisionAiry Gel Lipstick. PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance™ Lipstick and GIVENCHY - Le Rouge Lipstick are my other favorite lipsticks. Also, I've been trying to learn more about clean products, and I love RMS BEAUTY - Living Luminizer and ILIA - Multi-Stick, both of which are great for travel. Speaking of travel, which I do as often as possible, MILK MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer and LAURA MERCIER - Caviar Stick Eye Shadow are other go-to products for me.
