Best diva/ring light??

Hey beautifuls! I was wondering if anyone has purchased some kind of "diva" / ring light and can give me some good recommendations? I'm from Canada and want it for personal picture taking / videos (from an iPhone) (ideally not crazy expensive) Thanks xo

Newer has really great ring lights and it has a lot of sizing options as well!

Hello! Natural daylight with a reflector will give you the full spectrum of color. Look up reflectors by Westcott and Photoflex. You may have seen photographers using these to do Senior Portraits.

There are others but for makeup/hair, the color can be off. You want professional lights, otherwise you can get a weird color cast. They may seem expensive, but good lighting is an investment. Hopefully you can find one in Canada or use some reflectors. 

Compared to the professional video light kits costing over $1000, the ring light seems like a bargain. It’s like having multiple lights because you can light from the top, sides and bottom with one light. For full body, the ring light wouldn’t be my choice. I’d get multiple lights in a kit.

if you are looking for a ring light that clamps on to your phone you can get those pretty cheap off amazon, but if you are talking about a ring light with a stand i have a friend whose a makeup artist who uses one that she bought of amazon from the seller limo studio ( i believe) and she said it only cost her about $80
