This week both of Anastasia’s cream and powder contour palettes will be 50% off! Both cream and powder formulas are long-lasting and very easy to use. We have reviewed this in the past, but I think most of us can agree that these contour palettes are a great staple for any beauty routine weather you are a contour newbie or pro. Each palette comes with six shades for highlighting and contouring and range from Light to Deep shades to match all skin tones. Now it’s time for the hard question: Powder, cream or both?
As someone with oily, acne-prone skin this mask is my BFF! It is made with zinc, copper, and white clay so this mud mask cleanses and purifies pores, absorbs excess “gunk” in the pores, and reduces the appearance of blemishes without over-drying the skin. I tried it before going to bed and loved the clean smell and how well this got rid of my excess oil. It did make my skin feel a slight tingling sensation when I applied the formula but it was not uncomfortable and the formula dries quickly. Not only did this leave my skin feeling soft but it also made my foundation go on smoother the next day.
SEPHORA COLLECTION - Peel-off Mask$20.00 $10.00
This peel-off mask smells like delicious citrus fruit and contains skin-loving ingredients, grapefruit seed extract and vitamin E, which are known for their antioxidant properties. It purifies and smooths out the skin to give a radiant boost. Unlike some peel off masks, this mask is gently peels off, yet gets the job done by leaving the skin looking brighter.
LIVING PROOF - Restore Perfecting Spray$29.00 $14.50
I’m so happy there is a hair product this week and ecstatic that it’s a product from Living Proof! The Restore Perfecting Spray works for any hair type and texture. It helps to make hair smoother and softer while minimizing breakage from wet detangling. Just like all Living Proof products, it smells amazing. I sprayed it on my clean, damp hair from roots to ends and then brushed as I normally would. I let my hair air-dry after applying and my was noticeably more soft and smooth than usual. I also used tried the perfecting spray as a heat protector and noticed that my waves didn’t get as frizzy as they normally would throughout the day.
This make up remover does exactly what it says- “it leaves nothing behind.” Not only is this community holy grail gentle on the skin but, TDDO truly removes makeup with ease, even stubborn waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and our favorite bright, long-lasting lipsticks.
Our co-worker, Vivian, tried this moisturizer and was a big fan. She liked that he formula absorbs quickly into the skin and that a very little goes a long way. She normally doesn’t wear moisturizer with SPF because she feels like they make her skin sticky or cause breakouts but this moisturizer is very lightweight and great for sensitive skin.
Vivian also tried this mask and loved how much fun it was to use. Similar to many in the BIC, she loves when brand include a pump so you don’t have to dig into a jar, making this easier to use than other products. This a gel mask instantly bubbles on your skin and only takes up two minutes of your time, so it is great for those of us who are always on the go and have very little time to mask. The mask is gentle enough to be used multiple times per week and the formula helps to rid your skin oil, dirt, and debris to reveal a cleaner and more radiant complexion.
This lip balm is great for chapped, winter lips. The Perfecting Balm leaves lips feeling soothed without leaving a sticky or glossy residue. There is a clear, non-tinted shade to wear alone, or three tinted balms with buildable pigment (check the swatches below). I tried the cherry balm and I liked that it had a bit of pigment, perfect for my everyday make-up yet it was very moisturizing and soothing.
Yeah, the fact that the tan to medium isn't an option which threw me, too. I searched for "contour kit" and it doesn't exist. The tan to medium is available at ABH direct though at the same price.
