I celebrated early by getting filler in my forehead last week - what expression lines?? :D.  It was one part of my happy birthday to me gift. I have a couple of weeks to figure out my other gift.

Ohhh I'd love to hear your experience @niki172! 🙂 That's something I've been looking into recently.

@Asche I got Dysport injected and I love it!! It's completely smoothed out my forehead. This is the second time I've had it done. Each time lasts me about 5+ months (you do start noticing at 5 months but you have to be staring at your forehead). I love the dermatologist that I see which I think is important as well. She's very conservative in the fact that she's not going to tell you to do xyz when you don't need it nor let you leave there looking like a clown. I do have a bit of a headache for a few days afterwards (I get migraines so it's no where close to that). IMO it's totally worth it. Next time I'm also getting my eleven lines done. My Dr charges $400 for both the forehead and the elevens and I think she is pretty reasonable. You see results in about 72 hours with no downtime. It's recommended to not wear makeup and be gentle with the injection area for 24hrs if possible. I hope this helps 😊.

@Asche no not at all, but to be fair needles don't bother me in the slightest. It's a very fine needle that's used if it helps. I barely feel her injecting me.

@niki172 That's great to hear. I have a big issue with needles, which is why I have been holding off, but knowing it isn't painful and uses a fine needle is reassuring. 🙂

@Asche I think you'll be okay hopefully. It's like a tiny stick if anything. Getting your blood drawn is waaaayyyy worse for comparison. Like it's a 7 on a scale from 1-10 vs a 1.5 for the needle pokes for the fillers if that helps. Let me know if you decide to get it done. The results are so worth it!

@niki172 Thanks, that helps a lot! I tend to have the most difficulty with needles that go deeper into the body, so I think I'll be alright getting fillers based on your description. I'm looking forward to getting them, these forehead wrinkles are starting to get a little too visible for my liking. 😛
