NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation separating!

I recently bought Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation. I am loving the coverage and the look of the foundation. But today I put it on around 6:30am and by the time I got home from work around 4:00pm, the foundation had separated around my nose and chin & my face was very shiny on my forehead and cheeks. Anyone else having this issue? Or have any tips on how to keep the foundation in place with no shiny spots? Thanks!!

NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation separating!

@colieeve I found applying less of it helped it wear better too, I only use two pumps for my whole face. It actually blends out really well and still has great coverage, just takes a tad longer. Glad to hear the Tatcha primer works well with it! I'm on a search for a new primer.

@colieeve I had the same experience when I first started using it. The finish was so beautiful that I was determined to make it work. The Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 0.7 oz/ 20 g  works so well with it and really keeps my makeup fresh all day.

Re: NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation separating!

Hi @colieeve,

I'm a huge fan of the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Full Coverage Foundation Punjab - Medium 1  and have extremely oily skin. I did find that this foundation breaks up and would pair it with a primer if you haven't already! I really liked the Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 0.7 oz/ 20 g  primer with this. It helps with the longevity of my makeup and provides a great canvas. I also am the type of person that likes to bake with loose setting powder, the Hourglass Veil™ Translucent Setting Powder - Talc Free Translucent  has been my go-to recently and found that this helps with combating the shine I typically get through the day. I hope this helps! 🙂

Warmest regards,

Helen
