Fenty Foundation Equivalent

I recently bought the fenty foundation, but the color I got looks orange on me. I used to wear Estee Lauder DW in Rattan and it was a perfect color match. Does anyone one the fenty foundation equivalent? I bought shade 220.

If the depth of the shade 220 is correct but the undertone is wrong, you should be able to use 230 (neutral) or 240 (warm) instead of 220 (peach). Using Color IQ, Estee Lauder DW foundation in Rattan places you at 4Y06 which has no corresponding Fenty match but Fenty 240 is 4Y07 so it's the same undertone but slightly darker. From what I've heard, the key to using the the Color IQ finder, the first number and the letter refers to your undertone (Y= warm and 4 refers to how warm you are), and the last number refers to how how light or dark your skin in. If you have a match, you want to stick to colors around that number to find a good match (3Y05-07, 4Y05-07, and 5Y05-07).  So 4Y07 is slightly darker than 4Y06 but 4Y05 would be slightly lighter. For reference, the color 220 which you have is 1R08 which sounds like it's too cool for you and possibly a smidge too dark. I'm thinking that 240 is a better match for you since 230 comes up as 1R07 which is cooler but I'd still recommend going to a Sephora to get matched if you can.

Hey! If you have a sephora near you, you can get color matched there. If not, theres a great site called Findation where you can enter the products and shades you use and they will calculate what shade is right for you! You can even search to find your match in a specific product. (I dont work for them or anything, Im just suggesting because it's a great tool and I use it often because I dont live anywhere near a Sephora).
