sephora favorites sets - is the value/quality declining?

I used to love buying the sephora favorites collections.  i still buy them pretty regularly as gifts.  however, i feel like the value/quality has been declining.  for example, 2 summers ago, i bought the sunscreen set and loved all the different products, but the sunscreen set from last summer has less products (some of which were tiiiiiiny).  also, over a year ago, there was an aaaaaamazing hair mask set that i bought all my friends.  the new hair mask sets don't have the same variety or number of products.  

does anyone else feel like this?  or am i just misremembering the old sephora favorites sets?

I guess it just depends on the set. I recently bought the scouted by Sephora skin care set and the drunk elephant babyfacial and blue tansy mask together are worth $30 so everything else in there is less than $2 each which I think is a great deal. And the new Sephora bold lip kit the full size too faced Lippie is $21 so all the other minis lippies are basically less than $2 each which I think awesome. I really only think they loose value when you don’t plan on using everything in the set

I feel the same.  This is the first year I haven't bought all of them and that damn Boscia peel off mask I hate is im all of them!

what don't you like about the peel off mask? I've heard it's hard to peel off

Yes, I find it hard to peel off, especially around my eyes.  This and the fact that I have like five or six of them already. 😲
