Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

Does anybody know any good quality brushes and where to find them? I’ve found some good ones but there way to expensive. I especially need a good brush for foundation or highlighter. If you have a suggestion please let me know.

Re: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

Elf and Morphe literally have the best brushes I have ever used, and they are extremely affordable!

RE: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

The elf beautifully precise brushes are pretty bomb. I don’t even shop around for other ones anymore. They’re all I need or want.

@Anonymous my personal favorites are Ecotools and Real Techniques and you can find them at both Target & Ulta.

I got ELF brushes for 50 and it was a ton of them and they have been pretty good to me. https://www.ulta.com/19-piece-brush-collection?productId=xlsImpprod15481103

The USpicy set on Amazon has been my go to, you get around 30 Brushes and they are pretty darn good for the price

RE: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

I’d suggest looking at Morphe..

Re: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

I would suggest you try the Wet and Wild brand brushes. I've used many different brands from Elf to IT and many in between. It took me a little bit to find a brick and mortar store that actually sold Wet n Wild brushes as well as make-up. However I ended up having really good luck at my local right aid. They had a wet foundation brush, a powder brush and a blush brush for $2.99 or less depending on the brush(es) you want. There make-up brushes were so very soft and Im sure they have more brushes (probably online) but those were the ones I got! I guess my only slight complaint for the Wet and Wild brushes...they were somewhat sparse compared to some other brushes I've owned but nothing I won't get over having a whole new outstanding makeup brush collection at these very LOW prices. Oh and one last thing the handle part of the brush are nice and smooth with indents in the handle to gain a better grip. I definitely have a "new" love! Hope this helps and good luck finding your new brushes!!

Re: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

Real Techniques are great brushes for their price point. Bonus, you can often find them marked down at TJMaxx/Marshall's or on sale at Ulta or Target.

Re: Good, but cheaper makeup brushes?

yes, I have to agree, real techniques are very good brushes, and I saw someone post that they started having them at the 99 cent store too for like $4.00 for a set

If you wait for a good sale ( which is basically weekly) the body shop actually has surprising amazing brushes, so soft and I've never lost a bristle.

look at Kipozi on Amazon, i really like their set and it's 15.00 or so. I've heard BH Cosmetics has good sets and I think Morphe is having a sale on their direct site and they have great brushes. good luck

my friend was doing this the other day. she chose morphe! she read a lot of reviews and compared and decided it was the most value. we're Canadian though that might give us less options
